Yes Capri is beautiful and an absolute gem to visit, but what made our visit extra fabulous was calling Villa Due Marine home for 2 weeks. Perched near the top of a cliff that overlooks Marina Grande, Capri Town, Monte Solaro and almost Marina Piccola the location and views were magnificent! Being able to walk just about everywhere of interest made this Villa location very useful. Groceries,dining of every type,beautiful walks and of course incredible shopping are right down the steps of this Villa. We anticipated eating out, but honestly, once you discover all the little shops that have amazing fresh produce,meats,baked goods and everything else a chef could imagine,we took advantage of the Villa's wonderful kitchen and incredible deck for 90% of our meals.It was fantastic! The kitchen has everything necessary to cook anything you would at home. The Villa itself is very well maintained and furnished with amazing and unique treasures and artifacts that give the feel of a 5 star penthouse. The Summer in Italy crew were beyond Great and went above and beyond to make our stay and experience extra special and flawless. Special thanks to Nadia! We are avid travelers and were super impressed with the Villa, the location and the management and would recommend Villa Due Marine 100% The only thing that could complicate a stay is the fact that because this Villa is literally perched on a cliff there are many steps to navigate before you get blown away by this incredible place. We actually began to enjoy the steps because we knew what was waiting at the top. Paradise!!

The property representative Luca has been extremely helpful with answering all detailed questions of the property that I have booked. All responses are fast, very professional and cordial. I feel that Summer in Italy really cares that we have the best experience possible. I am looking forward to my stay and the continued client support when needed.

We stayed at a villa on the Amalfi Coast marketed as Madre Luna in August 2023. The photos posted on Summer in Italy website are not those of the actual villa. Even though their website says they take the actual photos.
Please ask to see actual photos before booking. The place was nice but there was no place to sit that was comfortable. All the lounge chairs were broken and there were no umbrellas. All hammocks were missing. The beautiful room filled with rattan furniture that's on their website doesn't exist, and the dining area is very basic. I gave one star because they are still posting the wrong photos.
I sent Luca actual photos of the place and he did not update the website because these photos showed a place that was definitely in stark contrast to the old photos that are on their site. I think that Summer in Italy is advertising falsely about what the place actually looks like and should update the website. It's been over a year, and I have followed up over and over again, but still the inaccurate photos are posted.
I would post my photos but don't have the option here. We were there in August 2023.

Well, Summer in Italy never lets us down! With the unrelenting heat and visiting family members who were desperate for A/C and a pool, we were able to find a villa, miraculously available for the dates we needed, at the last minute The price was right, and everyone was thrilled with the villa. We have stayed at Villa Virginia before, and must say it has held up well through the years, being impeccably maintained. With 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of patio space, a shady pergola, there was room for everyone.
Mostly they just wanted to relax and enjoy the views, the cool interior and the pool, which was fine, though we ventured into Santa Maria di Castellabate for a swim in the Mediterranean below the castle, and a seafood feast.
The staff, as always, is super-helpful, and the caretaker was superb

Luca is so very helpful, responds really quickly to all questions, however silly they may seem from my end. I'm super impressed with the service and with such a large group of us travelling from different parts of the globe it's great to know Luca's on hand to help out with any queries we may have. Thank you so much and we're really looking forward to this holiday.

Luca and Klint at Summer in Italy were both very helpful and responsive, not only before booking the villa we rented, but also after. Luca made sure we got the week we wanted, and Klint answered questions about the property manager and provided suggestions for local shops and restaurants. Most importantly, the villa itself turned out to be exactly as represented on the Summer in Italy site. If anything, it was even more beautiful than the photos, and the property manager was extremely helpful. Summer in Italy delivered what they promised and we had a wonderful week!

Luca was very responsive and helpful with the entire process. Any questions or problems that I encountered were remedied promptly. I look forward to my stay at their property in Amalfi!
