We bought our first home from Strongvox and are so happy. The process from reservation to completion was smooth and communicated well throughout. The house was immaculate with very few and minor snagging which have been responded to quickly and efficiently.
We love our new Strongvox home and are very happy here!

From the moment we visited the Sales Office to enquire about the development at Wedmore Grange through to the completion of the purchase of our property, Laura and Kate, Sales Advisors could not have been more professional and supportive.
The day prior to moving in we were hugely disappointed to find that the fencing behind the car ports had not been done and the driveway had not been tarmacked as promised by senior management.
Chris and Dom, Site Managers, were immensely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure fencing and a gate was in place first thing the next day to keep our dogs safe and rearranged schedules so our tarmac was completed that afternoon.
They were both really friendly and immensely helpful and I feel confident that should we have any future possible problem they will do their best to resolve it asap.
The team at Strongvox are fantastic, we highly recommend the developer and we are delighted with our beautiful, superbly finished new home.

Having Purchased an absolutely stunning 4 bed detached house from Strongvox. We are over the moon with everything.
Kate and Laura were on the ball, kept us updated with everything going on and were super pleasant to deal with. As the build got closer to completion we had the pleasure of meeting Dom and Chris who confidently showed us round pre and post completion. All four of them answered every question we had and it made the whole process smooth and simple. The quality of the house is outstanding. Spacious, well laid out and brilliantly put together, so much so we found ourselves hunting for snags that didn’t exist.
We did need some assistance with getting WiFi connection sorted while we wait for other homes around us to complete, this was quickly and efficiently sorted by Doug who has made sure we have plenty of connectivity while we work from home. We regularly see the folk mentioned above and they have been what feels like bend over backwards helpful. Can’t praise everyone enough.

My family and I moved into a Strongvox new build in October last year and we are thrilled with the quality, attention to detail and space of the property - it’s really been a great move . Only one minor issue when we moved in and once reported , somebody came the very next morning to sort it out . I would definitely recommend them .

I was very surprised to read some of the vicious reviews for some Strongvox sites and felt I wanted to put the record straight! We bought our beautifully designed bungalow in a quiet cul de sac just over three years ago, an have always just loved it. There were the inevitable snags at the beginning, but they were dealt with in a timely manner with excellent customer care from Jennifer.
This review is specifically about something which happened a month or so ago, when I rang Jennifer three years after moving in. She remembered me and was very helpful, although I knew I was way outside my two year warranty period.
I explained why I was ringing for advice and definitely not complaining, but Jennifer said that Adam would be on site the following day and he would call in to see if he could help. Adam turned up at the arranged time and did the job, which took almost 1.5 hours, beautifully. I am very happy to recommend Strongvox for building high quality stylish homes and for excellent after sakes care.

I have moved into a new build Strongvox property in Wedmore in the last 6 months. From the outset, when I reserved the property, I found the staff exceptionally helpful. I have never lived in a new build before, it is built to such a high standard with every attention to detail. There were a couple of small snagging issues that needed sorting once I had moved in. These were rectified promptly and with care. I can not recommend the Strongvox properties highly enough and I am delighted with my new home. It is certainly worth visiting a Strongvox show home to get a picture of the high specification standard.

Well designed homes built to a high standard and backed up with excellent aftersales customer care.

Naturally you would expect a few snagging points after moving in and noticing them after a few days. It's the way they are handled that's important.

My list was quite small and minor however all were dealt with within 30 days of moving in. All staff are very polite and aproachable.

I would reccommend Strongvox as a devloper to anyone considering to purchase a new build property.

Me and my husband and family have just moved into a new 4 bed property in Wedmore and it’s one of the best built ‘new builds’ we have been in! Everyone has different opinions on new and old houses but this one is ideal for us in terms of location and size for our family and it’s really spacious our lounge diner is huge! The gardens are a nice size too not like some of them where you can only fit a tiny shed in and that’s basically it! Well done strongvox you have done us proud ! 🥳

I moved into a Strongvox detached 3 bedroom house on their Longfield Drive development in Wedmore in August 2020. I have renovated and built houses in the past and it was a pleasure to move into a new house where I didn't have to anything apart from move in. The Strongvox team at Wedmore have been extremely helpful, even repairing damage caused by my removal men and my own sloppy parking.

Buying a house in 2020 between lockdowns and moving from Cheshire to Somerset, was never going to be easy, but I have to say, that Strongvox helped me at all times.
They accomodated my random trips from Cheshire (as rules allowed) so that there was always a member fo staff to meet with me. There were no 'pushy' sales staff, a great team of builders, who were very approachable and an after sales service team who dealt with my (minor) snags expeditiously.
I chose The Helford and I am very pleased with it - it really is a lovely house.
The whole process was streamlined from initial decision to choosing fixtures and fittings, to the final handover on the date agreed.
My dealings with Strongvox as a company was a positive experience.

We purchased a property from Strongvox at their development in Wellington 2 years ago. We were very pleased with the excellent quality and attention to detail of our property. The customer journey was fantastic and the sales team were very patient as we had some hiccups with our mortgage.
Any snags we had were dealt with very efficiently by the wonderful customer care department.
The overall experience of buying a Strongvox home was very pleasant and stress free.

We own one of the 4 bedroom homes in Wedmore and we are really happy with it. The build quality is excellent and any (minor) issues have been seen to straight away. All of the people that we have dealt with have been really friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Strongvox to anyone looking to buy a new build property.

Myself and my wife recently purchased a four bed property from Strongvox in Wedmore and can honestly say I cant rate them highly enough. I didn't read any reviews for the company prior to moving in and glad I didn't as it seems like with most review sites only the bad experiences ever seem to get written as everyone else is busy enjoying there new home.

We are super happy with the build quality of our new home and the finish is exceptional. We have been here 4 months now and they have gone over and beyond with and snagging issues which we had and they were all tiny things which you expect in any new home. We have got to no lots of the other new residents and haven't heard any bad feedback.

If there is one thing I would suggest to Strongvox and any other new build companies is to spend more time making the garden more useable! Ours wasn't very good (We didn't mind as we planned on getting a landscape company in anyway) but for the cost of the houses I would expect a more useable garden. Way to much top soil under the grass!

Please don't let reviews put you off! Come take a look at the houses for yourself and look at the quality! You won't be disappointed!

Horrendous company. Half the houses in our estate have had major structural issues, Strongvox will try and wash their hands of it, so many issues with sub standard work from the word go.

How these houses were ever signed off in the first place we don't know. Gable walls falling down, coping stones falling, all on houses less than 9 years old. come and visit Cossington estate to see for yourself if your thinking of buying a strongvox home.

Customer service is appalling from the directors right down to first point of contact on the phone. Disgusting company. DO NOT BUY.

AVOID Strongvox at all costs, they are worse than double Pneumonia

We have a new Strongvox home. The home build quality is good but there are garage floor faults which they have failed to address. The garage doors still don’t close properly and the garage floor has a crack from front to back. The floor is so uneven you can see waves in the surface. The “Lawn” is poor and in some areas so compacted that you can’t get a fork into the ground.
We have been in residence for eight weeks and still have no phone or internet as Strongvox have failed to ensure service from Openreach was in place before the houses were complete. The cell phone signal is poor so we have real difficulty communicating.

Visited Sandford site and would suggest they improve their sales representation -the company and their properties were
Poorly represented ...obtaining information was like drawing blood !!

I will never recommend this house company. Do not buy a house from them. I cannot be more clear. You are putting your money and health at risk.

I would recommend you buy from anyone else other than this disreputable and dishonest company.

If you look for a house in Stogursey Somerset you will not find it listed on their website. They disowned this site when they were unable to sell the houses 11 years ago. Properties were left on leasehold land never having been past to the parish council or any of their Section 106 obligations fulfilled.

Strongvox have their own management company whose 2 directors are also the directors of Stongvox and they have demanded a site maintenance fee from each resident. The money was rarely used to maintain the communal areas properly. We have basically paid for Strongvox to maintain their own land!

Strongvox failed to complete the site to the original planning agreement. They have since submitted a number of variations to build on every possible green space on this site, including a toddlers playground. They kept closing the play area saying that it had been condemned but the safety reports always show that it is safe. Another misrepresentation and misuse of funds.

In their words they need to recoup money at the expense of their existing customer, a statement they submitted to the West Somerset Council Planning Committee. Nice attitude Mr Alford. He also boasted for a number of years at various public meetings that he has the planners in his pocket and they will pass the planning application anyway. Shame your company couldn't finish a housing estate within 10 years. If you wish to find out how strongly residents feel I suggest you look at the West Somerset Planning Portal for Paddons Farm/ Lonlay Meadow. The objections are damming.

This is a Company not to be trusted at all. We purchased a Deluxe 4 bedroomed detached house in the village of Stogursey in February 2008 - in May 2008 the builders walked off leaving a "bomb site" . The houses they couldn't sell were sold off as Council houses which immediately devalued our property. We have been trying to sell since 2009 and can't!
At the end of 2017 they put in a new planning application for extra substandard properties - whatever you do don't buy from Strongvox! You will regret it!
