Be cautious that Stratstone is not a member of the Motor Ombudsman and therefore there appears to be little recourse if you have a later dispute and require arbitration to solve it. We requested very straightforward details about our vehicle which were not forthcoming and the business chose to ignore and not respond to the request. I would certainly choose a dealer who is a member in future.

The experience from start to finish was efficient, user friendly and extremely professional with an eye to customer satisfaction.
The final documentation easy to process and Peter on delivery went over top to ensure all the functions were explained fully and I was completely happy.

Anthony delivered our brand new Defender, and I wanted to recognise how exceptional he was. From the moment he arrived, he was warm, personable and genuinely lovely to spend time with. He made the handover feel exciting, but also made sure I felt completely comfortable before driving away.

He took the time to explain every button and function, including the little details and useful tricks I would never have discovered on my own. What impressed me most was that he went beyond showing me where things were. He talked me through different situations I could encounter on the road, what the car would do, and what I would need to do. He checked that I understood and was happy to go over anything again.

There was no sense of rushing through a checklist. Anthony clearly cared about making sure I could enjoy the Defender and use it confidently from day one. His patience, attention to detail and kindness made the whole experience memorable.

After I’d paid the bill, they started imposing new conditions on me and saying that if I didn’t accept them, they wouldn’t hand over the car. They put me in a no-win situation. The day after I collected the car, the front number plate fell off. I also noticed that the first-aid kit, the warning triangle and the spare tyre were missing. I asked the manager about this, and he said these were all optional extras, but he hadn’t mentioned this when I placed the order. Usually, these items are always included as standard. There were also some scratches on the exterior and interior of the new car. And the mileage was 166 miles. The sales manager says this is a normal mileage for a new car. I’ll definitely be buying my next car elsewhere. If you’re buying a car from them, you absolutely must scrutinise the contract with a magnifying glass, and then inspect the car itself before signing any documents. Good luck to everyone.

Very good at selling you a car. Service from that moment onward was non existent.
Original salesman didn't respond to follow up emails once he had his sale. Then contacted Mahmood who promised to look into my queries. Eventually found he had left with no handover. Then left a message for Sales Manager to call me. Never returned call so gave up.

It's been well over a month now, and Land Rover Stratstone Mayfair has still not returned my £5k deposit. I was disappointed to have been rejected for finance post deposit payment, but the lender is completely within their right to do this. However, I found the sudden radio silence from Land Rover Stratstone Mayfair when it has come to returning my deposit both unethical and opportunistic. Until now, I thought both Range Rover and Stratstone Mayfair were synonymous with class, quality builds and integrity. I know now that this couldn't be further from the truth.

Alfie and Peter were amazing, Alfie’s communication was on point, I had my new vehicle delivered promptly by Peter who was an absolute god sent showing me how to navigate all the new features. I would highly recommend Stratstone.

I would strongly advise potential buyers to manage their expectations before purchasing from this dealership.

Sales rep was extremely responsive and helpful right up until the payment was made. Unfortunately, once the money had been transferred, the level of service dropped significantly.

The car was handed over in an unacceptable condition, it was unclean, more concerning, the car doors did not open from inside the car, had a ripped tyre and damaged alloy wheel. This should have been identified and resolved before asking us to collect the car. It did not reflect the standard you would expect from a professional showroom in Mayfair.

Despite numerous calls and raising a formal complaint with Stratstone head office, I received no response. I followed this up with a further complaint regarding the absence of a response, again no reply. The near complete absence of after-sales support has been the most disappointing part of the experience.

Buying a car is a significant purchase, and customers deserve proper preparation of the vehicle and responsive aftercare. Sadly this was not my experience with this dealership.

I am writing this review to help others make an informed decision. Although it took over a month, but for the excellent service from Peter and Land Rover assist, the problems would still exist.

The service we received from Pete at Stratstone Land Rover was excellent. He was honest, transparent, and consistently acted with our best interests in mind throughout the process. Communication was clear and straightforward, which made the experience a positive one overall.

Peter Dropped my Range Rover off this evening , He kept me imformed as to an eta for the delivery.

I have dealt with Chris and Peter at Stratstone Mayfair previously so went back looking for another vehicle. Although JLR have suffered the past few weeks with the Cyber attack Chris did everything to get the car I requested. Absolutely fantastic service again and lovely to see Peter again who is such a gent and nothing is too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend.
