Purchased a coat for £130 . Worn three times and couldn’t do zip up at all .
Was told “it is Tricky “
I think I know how to zip up a coat !
I didn’t have invoice number to return and they wouldn’t look on system to help me generate a return .
If I send coat back without number they won’t refund me . No contact number to actually speak to anyone .
Reported to trading standards as this is totally unacceptable.

This customers zip complaint is without doubt very flawed. This buyer bought her coat 2.5 months before she made this review and despite there being 47 days of rain in this period up to review date, she said she had used it only 3 times. That in itself really does not make sense. You buy a rain coat to wear when it rains.
The buyer states she asked us for an invoice number. We did not have an invoice number because Shopify generates customer order numbers not invoice numbers. Every buyer gets one automatically after a purchase
We advised on how to work the two way zip as she stated it was difficult. It turns out the buyer did not realize it was a 2 way zip. We advised to send the coat back for inspection and now the customer tells us they will keep the coat.
Our refund policy is on our site in terms and conditions of which we have to abide by and to protect us from fraudulent claims and to protect buyers.
Lastly the customer states they reported the matter to trading standards, we have had no contact with TS because there is no complaint to answer.
This was a case of the customer writing a bad review because they did not agree with our terms and conditions.
Despite this review we contacted the buyer to help with any faults and will help any customer with any issues
Shocking! Fake and a rip off
Shocking response from customer service, literally had the coat for 4 weeks and worn three times. The zipper has torn at the bottom…for £124 I’d expect a far superior quality and a zip to last longer than three wears. Response to my very polite email:
“ Hi,
A torn away zip is usually because the user sat down and did not zip the stay dry up from the bottom using the lower zip.
If you send it back we can review it and see if it can be repaired”.
For £124 quid I expect a refund or replacement, not a repair! Given the other review about this company I am reluctant to return it as it’s likely I won’t see the coat or my money again. I’m 56 year old, I think I know how to zip a coat up, and even if I had sat down (Which I didn’t) who knew you aren’t supposed to sit down with a coat on! It’s the most ridiculous response to a complaint I’ve ever received…it actually made me LOL
I’ve reported this company to trading standards, and actioned a section 75 claim from my credit card.
Avoid this company, it’s a scam!
Please note as of 24/10/2024 I have noticed a disclaimer which has been added to the website. This was not there before. The fact the company have added this would suggest it is a regular occurance and is a design fault with the zipper - horrendous customer service.

Totally inaccurate and this customer demanded there money back or they would leave a bad review, even when they obviously damaged the zip on the coat through misuse
When a buyer purchases a stay dry the first contact email explains about sitting down when using our coats.
Our coats are longer than standard, therefore the lower zip needs to be released when sitting down because the length of the coat varies on each person and can fall well below the knees.
This buyer states she knows how to work a zip. Maybe a standard length one, but In fact that is incorrect because she never bought a coat from us before with this length zip.
So the scenario for using a longline coat with this length zip is very different.
Zips do not just break away. A broken zip slider is caused by
1.To much pressure on the zip when its not undone when sitting down
2. Not engaging the slider zip part correctly into the two zip pullers
The buyer sent pictures of the fault and it was clear that the zip fell into one of the above categorize and this is classed as misuse.
Despite the misuse we refunded the full amount the buyer paid and despite this they still left a bad review.
Unfortunately you cannot please all the people all of the time, but we still do our best for our customers
absolutely terrible company
absolutely terrible company. Refusing to refund me for a coat I bought within 30 days of the purchase that isn't fully waterproof as the salesman stated it was. They did ask me to send it back to them before they refused to refund me so now they have the coat and are refusing to refund me.
