Ordered a section of wire rope balustrade after visiting the SHS showroom and receiving excellent advice on the product and fitting.
There was a glitch in the delivery of a length of handrail, which was outside the control of SHS, but they immediately despatched a replacement section.
Excellent quality materials and tools for fitting with detailed and easy to follow instructions available to download.
Really pleased with the result and would highly recommend SHS for their professional approach and service.

Contacted SHS for a quote after being messed about by another company. They understood my requirements, and helped me through the planning and design. The balustrade was done ahead of schedule, and when delivered I discovered one of the rails was damaged (bent). This was replaced with no issues and the replacement arrived the next day!
Everything I needed for the project came with it, crimper, cutter, taps, tap wrench, and drill bits.

Cannot fault any aspect of the service and product. We had several quotes to have a wire rope balustrade supplied and installed professionally but prices were extortionate. Found SHS and so pleased we did. The team helped us with every aspect of measuring and drawing up the plans. Sionna guided us, answered our many questions and amended the plans to ensure it was perfect. It was fairly complex from our perspective with 4 sections and 2 sets of steps, totalling around 25m in length - so obviously keen to get it right. The ordering process was clearly explained. We were contacted directly to organise delivery at a time to suit us and it came as arranged. Everything was carefully packed and clearly labelled. We received all tools to grip, cut etc and following the plan, paper and online video instructions were straight forward. A couple of minor issues (eg one wrong size clamp and we lost a couple of very tiny screws) were resolved immediately without any fuss - replacement parts were delivered the next day. We are so pleased with the 316 stainless steel mirror finish handrail and wire rope balustrade which finishes off and makes safe our patio area. And we have literally saved ourselves thousands by installing ourselves - even managed to work on it together! We would not hesitate in recommending SHS and their products.

Searched on Google for suppliers of Handrails and Balustrading . SHS website was by far the best. I selected a Handrail and a Wire Rope Balustrade then discussed project with a advisor at SHS. They suggested we use a Mirror Finish as we are located by the sea. Superb detailed Installation Guide and videos on measuring site and how to complete installation. Our builder supplied SHS with measurements and SHS quickly turned round quotation and drawings plus material list. We received materials with ten days . Builder carried out work and completed on time and within budget. SHS supplied all tools to complete work. We are very pleased with the outcome plus the bonus of all the materials are made in the United Kingdom.

Having trawled the various options looking for a balustrade for our garden decking we decided upon SHS. From the very outset I was confident I had made the right decision. I needed some assistance and decided to call. I spoke with Paulina who was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. On accepting my quote, I received CAD drawings of my balustrade for me to double check measurements. On confirming that I was happy, I received confirmation that my balustrade had been sent to production and would be 3-4 weeks. 3 weeks later I received a call from Gary to say my balustrade was ready and they could deliver to me the next day if I was available; superb given that Im on the west coast of Scotland.

The balustrade arrived with a comprehensive yet easy to follow set of installation instructions in both hard copy and email format. They even send you a video link to follow. Each box is part numbered and easy to identify. I made one small mistake when installing resulting in my needing a new part. I called customer services and Paulina came to my rescue.The quality of the product is simply outstanding and the results have given us a decking which we are immensely proud of.

This has been a genuinely great experience. From my initial enquiry I received a very helpful phone call to discuss the project, quotes were received very quickly and changes were accommodated without any complaint. When the items were ready (slightly quicker than expected) I got a phone call from the transport manager asking me when I wanted the delivery to be made. It turned up at lunchtime on the requested date and the quality is excellent to the point that I installed it all in just a few hours.
And that's it. Nothing could have gone any better. No hidden costs. Excellent communication from everyone (sales, drawings, delivery - all really helpful and friendly). Price was pretty decent as well. Thank You!

SHS delivered a first class service from start to finish with great support during the design stage with quick turnaround. Delivery by courier was on time and as I opted for supply and fit their contractor turned up next day and did a great job, they were efficient, tidy and took great pride in their work, leaving everything in in a gleaming condition. They even re-secured some loose copings whilst they worked! I would highly recommend!

From the initial design conversations, through the ordering and installation, SHS Balustrades were great. We had a large area we needed balustrading for. SHS patiently produced multiple design options to allow us to choose a system that would meet our requirements and budget.
