Specialist Vehicles Ltd are exactly as described‘Specialists’. I purchased an Audi from them and from start to finish it was an exemplary experience and smooth process. I had particular requirements that were met with enthusiasm and care. Elliot Bradbury is a credit to the family business owned by Tom, nothing was too much trouble and he guided me through the process of buying the vehicle with transparency support and genuine kindness to ensure my requirements were met, Elliot and Mark delivered my car to Sidmouth for me and I have no hesitation in recommending Specialist Vehicles and the dedicated professionals that take care over the high quality vehicles they present for sale.

Having been retired as part of the sole BMW Dealer Plymouth sales team since 2007-I decided to change my low mileage 335dase having owned it from new.
Looking at the Specialist website the car that really caught my attention was their 330daMSport which looked amazing!
Fortunately Elliott followed up the enquiry and I was smitten with the car and it’s unique specification after a perfunctory test drive.Both he and Tom were absolutely superb in our negotiations and I soon resigned myself to moving on from my previous car which I had held onto for far too long!
The complete sales process was faultless and so impressed me that I will recommend the Dealership every time.
I’m amazed at how beautifully the car was prepared when I took delivery and Mark Bowman ensured that I would be delighted.
It was a very enlightening experience-AMAZING IN FACT.

From initial contact regarding my eventual purchase through to handover, Specialist Vehicles and Elliot were extremely accommodating, making the vehicle available to view at short notice and arranging the opportunity for a solo test drive. The vehicle looked very well presented for viewing, but looked amazing at handover. Absolutely spotless is an understatement!

I knew already from day one that I wanted a car from specialist Vehicles.
Having had my eye on a few cars I narrowed it down to a couple, both Tom and Elliot went to every length to offer advice on choosing between the two and ultimately I decided to go with an incredibly rare and beautiful Mini!

They were ace throughout the entire process and were never once pushy, they gave me plenty of time to make my decision.

A LOT of car dealers will be responsive and helpful prior to car sale but after the car sale become somewhat reluctant. The difference with Tom and Elliot at SV is that their level of care helpfulness continues long after the sale of the car, they genuinely check in to make sure everything with the car is faultless and that I'm satisfied.

Can't recommend them enough, cars are big investments and you want a vehicle that has been scrutinised and checked to every level and to be advised honestly and accurately along the way!

I'm sure I'll be seeing you boys in the next couple years for the upgrade!

I don't normally write reviews but felt that my purchase of a VW Touareg required one.

From the initial enquiry through to collection Elliot was fantastic! A credit to himself and the company.

The car was as described and in excellent condition. Like new on collection and for a 5 year old car that is saying something. The car is in immaculate condition and is a great drive.

Elliot showed great patience and professionalism throughout the car purchase process and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or Specialist Vehicles to anyone.

Elliot was helpful and honest enough to say when he needed to come back to me with answers to questions, which I much prefer to a car salesperson trying to blag an answer.
Having bought the car mid-January during Covid issues, without visiting Specialist Vehicles - Elliot sent photos and whatapp videos for me - I’m happy with the car. I took comfort from seeing the other stock they sell, with some cars being much higher price than mine.
Elliot arranged a Covid safe delivery for me and I appreciated their honest approach - whilst advertised price remained pretty firm, I was reassured they want me to be happy with the car given they replaced 2 tyres when the car was MOTd before sale - my other buying experiences tell me some garages would have put cheap make tyres or advised the existing were still above minimum tread and would be good for a few months. This approach will mean I will check their website in the future for our next car change even though they’re 250miles from where I live !

This is the first time I have used Specialist Vehicles and I was extremely impressed with the quality of service provided by Elliot and Tom who took excellent care of me when it came to purchasing the Subaru BRZ they had in stock.

They offered a good deal on the trade in I had and were accommodating and flexible when it came to arranging a time to pick the car up.

Elliot had a high level of knowledge despite his little time in the industry and acted professionally and efficiently during the whole process.

The handover was extremely slick and easy and followed the COVID-19 guidelines allowing myself to feel relaxed and enjoy the handover.

Would certainly buy another car again from Elliot and Tom at Specialist Vehicles which is high praise when considering the journey was 600 miles each way.

After buying an X3 earlier this year, I returned to buy a 1 Series BMW as I was so pleased with Specialist Vehicles.

The quality and professionalism of staff was good in February 2020, but over a 10 month period this level of quality has risen once again. Whether you are buying a £8,000 2nd car or an £80,000 luxury car you will receive exactly the same care.

With a showroom which wouldn't look out of place in Central London to the quality of the cars, this place lives up to the Specialist name.

A few months ago I was seriously looking at a BMW 535 that Specialist Vehicles had available. What with one thing and another it did not work out at the time.

Fast forward serval months and I wandered onto the forecourt knowing full well that they did not have a 535 (having checked the website). I thought I'd have a little nosey around anyway.

Thank god that Elliot and Tom were to hand! Tom remembered me by name from months before and Elliot mentioned that they had just taken delivery of a 535 a few minutes before I turned up!

This was my first experience of purchasing through Specialist Vehicles. I live fairly locally and have often driven past and always been impressed with the high standard of vehicles on their forecourt.
I was in the market for a newer model Range Rover Sport and Specialist Vehicles had virtually exactly what I was looking for. After a successful test drive, we agreed on a price a couple of days later, which included a part exchange.
On collection all the servicing and requested work had been completed to an excellent standard. In fact the attention to detail of the final valet was exceptional, this all made the handover a smooth process.
At all stages of the transaction both Tom and Elliot were very professional, informative, helpful and a pleasure to work with.
