Regarding the shipping error, I have spoken with the initial product error, this was down to a communication issue between team members working in different rooms (social distancing etc) and around the products for memory and caching. Totally smooth process
Totally smooth process. Everything happened as you would expect. The qnap was delivered when it said it would be, delivered in a box in a box with plenty of that rice puff padding stuff to protect it.
The team were extremely prompt at replying and very helpful when I made a mistake with my card address.
Many thanks for a smooth buying experience.
(The qnap is also working great out of the box :)

Ordered a QM2 card by QNAP for 10GBE
Ordered a QM2 card by QNAP for 10GBE. Whilst I have never used this company previously I am aware of SPAN from watching their you tube videos. Whilst they are not the cheapest they were competitive in their pricing. I like to buy from a brand that I am aware of rather than a cheaper unknown on the internet. I ordered the product and as promised it arrived the very nest day. Service was good. The only reason for not giving a full 5 starts is due to the fact I hate having to pay for delivery especially from an online company whereby the purchase value is significant. If they did free delivery on items say over £50 I would most probably order a lot more from them. However it's back to Amazon for future purchases.

Thank you for your honest and straight forward review of us Jason, as well as for highlighting what you liked about ordering with us, as well as things you felt needed to be improved - we always need feedback from customers to know what needs to be changed in our business. Regarding delivery pricing, this has been a subject we have gone back and forth on for a number of years. In the past, we provided free delivery services based on order value, but courier prices have increased in recent years to a point whereby it squeezes the profit margin too much to be workable. A great deal of this is because the bulk of the product we provide are of high value, fragile and security linked. These do not translate well for shipping with the low-cost delivery coverage service offered by most couriers (which typically have a £20 per KG loss/damage policies). This alongside our large degree of international customers and mix of home, business and drop-off (ie undisclosed supplier) orders makes including a free delivery service very difficult. If it is any consolation for your future consideration, the delivery services we include are priced at a loss to us and the same likewise service/insurance level we include in our orders are ones that Amazon and other sites charge for, and more than we do. Nevertheless, we completely understand your position and how you might not have felt this appropriate to your order. From the first call through to delivery everything was simple and seamless. I am not at all technical and our office storage system had crashed, was out of warranty and production but backed up to a similar model which raised concerns for me. The advice was swift, accurate and straight forward.

The service was fantastic ordered on the Monday came on the Tuesday also the price was £5 less than Amazon. The nice think about purchasing from Span is that it was not Amazon (nothing wrong with them just nice to give a different company my business) and I got the same delivery that I would have gotten from them. Would, buy from again.

Excellent service again many thanks. I Have purchased APC UPS backup for my QNAP TVS 472 NAS from SPAN following advice from Paywand in technical support and is all setup and working fine. Delivery was within 24 hours. I delighted with the hardware, and have been guided by the excellent customer service from SPAN as well as the superb videos that they have on You tube !
