We booked John for our wedding a year prior to our wedding. John was always to quick to reply to any query I may have had over email. The portal to add a playlist was super helpful.
When I realised prior to the wedding that I had asked John to set up too early he was quick to rectify this, with no issues caused.
Our guests have all said how amazing our DJ was for the evening. Not once was the dancefloor empty!

John was fantastic from start to finish! Super helpful during initial booking, updated throughout the countdown then brilliant on the actual evening

Southwest discos provided their platinum package for our wedding and it was more than we could have ever wanted!! So many compliments from guests too! Big thank-you to the dj, who definitely made it a never ending party with the dance floor always full! Thank-you so much again!

John was so accommodating & helpful. We had a great night for our wedding party. Songs were exactly what we wanted & photo pod was a lovely touch which got everyone together. Definitely would recommend and use again.

Southwest Discos Direct. Well what can I say a superb service from start to finish, John was highly professional on all levels, arrived promptly at the venue to set up before guests arrived. I didn’t have a play list for him as I wanted all genres covered as the age range was varied, I asked for an old fashioned DJ that my guests could approach and request songs this is 100% what he delivered. Great knowledge of music genres, the whole lighting set up was breath taking too, would highly recommend him and will definitely book him again.

John provided music all day for our wedding on Saturday 6th April 2024. We honestly could not recommend southwest discos highly enough!
From the minute we booked with southwest discos, John was amazing. Having our own online portal to plan our music for the whole day, made everything so easy. John even put my worrying mind at rest through emails leading up to our wedding day.
John is extremely friendly and constantly kept us both in the loop throughout the whole day and asked us what we want and how we want it throughout each part of our day.
The set up was beautiful and even better than we ever could have dreamed of.
Once again, We really could not recommend southwest disco’s highly enough!!!

Craig & I got married on 5th April 2024 and with only 5 weeks to plan our wedding. From start to finish, John was absolutely amazing!! From having a straight forward portal to add music & our plans to the main event. Everything at a wedding has a level of importance but having a DJ that knows how to get people up on the dance floor is what we needed. John went above and beyond for us and it didn’t go unnoticed that he added a couple of extra bits into our package for free ☺️ He kept the wedding evening do alive, took requests (we had requests open) and turned the party up with the tunes we wanted, without actually creating our own playlist, he definitely got the memo! I would highly recommend John and will be booking him again for my 30th next year 😉 & will also tell everyone to do the same! Gutted when the night ended, but until next time 😍🙌 Thank you so much again!

John was DJ/master of ceremonies for my wedding day 04.03.24 and we could not have wished for a better man. Professional, very early! And warming. We’ve had many compliments for how the day was conducted and the music was bang on all day. We didn’t worry about a thing and John went about the day perfectly. Would recommend very highly. John was the DJ for my wedding back in January and I cannot recommend him enough. From start to finish the communication with John was incredible. His equipment and set up made us & the family and friends absolutely speechless. Something we have never seen before and the reviews and recommendations certainly spoke for themselves. John turned the vague playlist we provided into one incredible set and was able to keep all of our guests entertained all night. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Well what can I say, Jon dj’d at our wedding and what an amazing night. Jon took the time to listen to our requirements and adhered to them. He was/ is kind and consensus in everything that he does. Our first dance was amazing he waited and kept the crowd dancing until we were ready as we had ran over. Nothing is to much trouble. Would hire again in a heart beat.

John was the best DJ! We chose the platinum package, with all day add on, which meant we didn't have to worry about a thing all day. John took care of ceremony music, post ceremony, background music for our reception and the evening entertainment. Booked for Wedding DJ in October at Eastington Park. Last minute booking as got let down by our wedding DJ. John was super helpful and friendly making the entire process very easy. He played greats tunes and had a great set up. The online portal was super helpful and easy to use, inputting song requests prior to the big day. Turned up early! Very impressed with his DJ services. Would definitely recommend!

I cannot recommend south west discos enough! John honestly saved the day, after being scammed out of £870 just a month before my wedding It's safe to say I well truly started to stress. Everyone was recommending John and saying how good he was, and they were not wrong! I booked John and from that moment of booking him he kept in touch, he made me feel at ease as if there was nothing to worry about! The service he delivered on the wedding day was above and beyond. The sweet cart and popcorn machine went down a treat!! I went to get some sweet at the end of the night and everything was gone.. not that I'm surprised! The DJ set up was incredible and John himself was so lovely and down to earth.. He even played a weird request that he had never heard of before for me and my maid of honour when most people have left.. I am sorry for that request it had to be done we love Eminem 🤣! He also a provided us with a projector which was incredible, very large and clear so my father and daughter dance tribute video played beautifully which meant the world to me. ❤️ I seriously cannot thank John enough, he clearly takes pride in what he does and he does a fantastic job at it!! Thank you again John you're a super Star ⭐️🥰 !

We used the company for our wedding in march.
Seems like no one seems to care about the company.
They sent the wrong light up letters on the day. We recieved the Mr & Mrs light up sign when we had booked to recieve the LOVE light up letters.
Not only were they wrong the had a bulb out which looks lovely in our photos.
We also booked a DJ package, we had sent over the playlist which all of our guests had helped pick from their invites... DJ forgot the playlist. Also family and friends were asking who the dj was when he arrived as he looked a mess.
The magic mirror also kept breaking as it was "too cold".
The staff were all dressed very scruffy and all in all was not impressed with the service on the day.
We were told they would send us some money to apologise which also never materialised. After chasing still no money was refunded.
Do not recommend

Myself and Luke would just like to say a massive massive thank you for our incredible gold Dj Package at our wedding in November, everything was absolutely incredible!!

The uplighters and LOVE letters were absolutely stunning and really uplifted an already stunning venue!

The lady and Gentlemen who were running the selfie mirror were both lovely!

Lastly, the DJ John was just brilliant, from start to finish, so friendly and bought our night to life!

You really did create an extra special evening reception for our wedding day and for that we are so grateful so Thank you so much!
