I was worried about my order after reading these reviews, but I had a very good experience.

My order confirmation went to junk mail, so I followed up with them and they got back promptly. Plants arrived a few days later in a good condition, they are now doing well in the garden!

2 small shrubs delivered poorly packed, more soil in box than in pot. Plants however lovely and healthy, more likely to be rough handling by the Post Office.

Weak plug plants received. Five (of 6) died within a few days. I emailed several times only getting “ help” when I rang them. Appalling customer service. After much correspondence they said I had to reorder from them and they’d refund me. But I had to pay the postage. I don’t think so! I want nothing more to do with this company and suggest you avoid too.

Tiny plants were sent that were so small they dislodged from the packaging and arrived broken into pieces.
A video was sent twice which was ignored and a PayPal claim opened.

I have ordered from here for a few years and the plants that have arrived have always been of excellent quality. Well packed with lots of roots that are surrounded with wet newspaper so they did not dry out. The prices are good compared to the big companies and the plants arrived promptly.
I haven't had to use customer services much (and certainly not to complain about the health of any plants) but when I have I have always got a quick and helpful response.
I only have 2 problems with this company. I wish they had a bigger range so I wouldn't have to use the b ig companies so much and I wish the delivery charge was lower as almost £8 for 6 packs of plants felt a bit much - but most of us hate delivery charges wven though we know if they were less we would have to pay more for the plants! perhaps the occasional free delivery weekend or a loyalty scheme system would help?
Anyway I shall be back!

There are lots of negative reviews for this company, but this is the second time I have ordered from them, and both times I have been extremely happy with my order. The plug plants were very well packed, were of a good size, and the plants were bushy and healthy. I have ordered both perennial and annual plants, and they have all been of an equally high standard. Where most other companies at this time of year say the plants will be despatched within three weeks, these were despatched at the beginning of the next week (I ordered on a Wednesday) and arrived two days later. I have absolutely no complaints and will happily order from them again. It seems, looking at other reviews, that most people are complaining about the delivery, which is a shame as the plants they sell are extremely good.

Reading some of the past reviews, I concerned about ordering through this company - but am absolutely delighted that I did. I purchased a number of Armeria Dreamland large plug plants, had ongoing emails to confirm the order and advise of delivery - which was veery swift. The plants are of excellent quality, far far better than anticipated - and were very well packed. I made considerable savings and shall definitely use SE Horticultural again.

I always return to the website when I need more plants as the quality, range, packaging and swiftness of delivery is second to none. Its reassuring that the stock advertised is available and not pending. I have never been disappointed - lovely fresh plants.

Bought a couple of nutcracker dolls for Christmas decorations
all was good untill I opened them and the quality was terrible! Sent them an email with pictures and got no reply so terrible customer services if I lived closer I would have returned them but couldn't be bothered with paying and returning them via post. Would love to be able to put pictures on here!

Received delivery of lovely Citriodorus Mystic Lemon Thyme plug plants. Great delivery, good sized, healthy looking plug plants. Very carefully packaged with additional dampened newspaper to ensure they were remained moist! Looking forward to planting them in my garden path!

I bought a lot of plug plants months ago and they arrived beautifully packaged and very healthy. They have all grown and flourished into full sized plants and all for a fraction of the cost (and a little bit of patience) of buying a similar sized plant. Highly recommended.

Avoid at all costs.

They said they sent the plants I ordered but they didnt arrive. On contacting this apauling company they refused to help! On further investigation using the tracking number they sent the plants to the WRONG address..when confronted with this they continually denied any fauly yet I have documentary evidence they were given correct address.
The company were rude. unhelpful and refused to help which under distance selling regulations i think is illegal!
Id never buy from this company. The mark pf a professional company is how they deal with everyday problems, well they didnt even try and help me and it was their fault! You know there are many many good companies to buy plants from....id buy from those companies ! APAULING ......AVOID

Updated my Review as the plants have now arrived and in fairly good condition.

Issues faced were still issues that I wouldn't expect though.

-No communication at all about orders placed.... no way to initiate contact etc

- There is no confirmation email sent after a purchase (Take a photo of your order number like I did or you will have no way of knowing it). If you build your website yourself i'd be happy to send my own code over if someone can implement it.

- Email on the website is broken. "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later." has appeared every time I have tried to send one.

- I have rang 10+ times over several days.... No one answers the phone, regardless of when you ring.

- I have absolutely no way of knowing when my order will be sent and as (like most people) I work have no idea when I need to ask someone to be in to take delivery.

- Apparently reading the reviews there is no tracking information sent through either so i'm at a loss.

But.... plants arrived in decent-ish condition (not helped by me not knowing when they would arrive and sitting in a box for a day) but they are high quality for a great price and you can just tell by the composition of the soil that they really care about their gardening and plants produced.

If you could just sort the stuff above you would have a customer for life.

I ordered some plant plugs, they arrived ahead of estimated delivery date, well packaged and the plants look healthy.

Found this site by accident and nearly didn’t order because of some negative reviews.However I did and am so pleased by my plants. Condition is of a high standard and well packaged will definitely order again

I placed an order for 48 petunia plug plants, I was a bit worried because of some negative reviews but my plants were lovely, they are all healthy and growing well will definitely be ordering again.

A small order of six coleus canina plug plants arrived promptly. Beautifully packed, good-sized plants in lovely condition and ready to pot on. 27-04-23

I made a purchase for some plant only not to receive anything from them not even a email they where very happy to take the money but to supply the good is a different storey refund me my money
