Amazing platform for music distribution. Fantastic support service. Everytime I had any issues with distribution, I was immediately helped by Songtradr team.

The distribution pricing is also very reasonable. I highly recommend Songtradr to every artist seeking the right platform to get their music on all major streaming platforms with complete control.

I have been with Songtradr several years now but I left and came back as I use several platforms. Besides there being very little sync opportunities now (about 2 a month if we're lucky) the site crashes all the time. I have reported it several times in the past but they just blame the user. I've used both Firefox and Google Chrome and it's the same story. I just tolerate it but I do pull my hair out with frustration. I update the metadata on one song and then it crashes if I try to do it on a second song. Today I have had to log in and log out clear caches each time but it still crashes. The other major problem is logging in. The other day the security captcha widget made me do it six times just to log in. It cannot read a pic idententification correctly. If it's a bus, you click on the the squares with the bus in it, and it gives you another one with a motorcyle and it doesn't recognise that correctly either and so on it goes.

Songtrdr is the most cost effective platform I've found to distribute my music to the major music portals. It has improved over the last few years to be very easy to use. Support is very responsive and efficient.

Songtradr sent me an email that they are the new up-and-coming releasing portal and that they provide good marketing and coverage to the artist with chances for placements in TV and films etc. I am already on Tunecore for more than 13 years and on Distrokid for more than 5 years. In March 2023, I got an email from them that they had seen an unusual streaming activity and that they were terminating my account.

I told them I have millions of streams (which can be seen on various platforms) over many years and that I am promoting my streams through multiple social media platforms. But they refused to reinstate my account. My catalog is stuck with them. They have held my royalties and blocked my catalog. Even if I am not able to transfer my royalties until a decision is made- they have no right to hold on to the artist’s intellectual properties without their consent. It’s illegal, inappropriate and unethical. I can read many similar reviews. Since then they have also moved their URL. Please be careful, and advice from fellow artists will be greatly appreciated.

I am connecting with authorities and reporting their malicious activities. Justice may be delayed as it takes its due course but I am astonished as to how they can conduct such an operation from California and especially LA. I am receiving royalties from Distrokid and Tunecore as usual- but Songtradr has since illegally withheld my albums and singles without my consent- it's copyright infringement and they will have to ultimately make good of the damages and losses they have caused me.

As a fraternity, I warn my fellow artists of their inconsistent policies and suspicious conduct. They are acting like labels despite the fact that they are only a release agent. Labels do invest in their artists and they are taking subscriptions from us and openly committing such highway robbery. It’s only a matter of time when their complaints will blow out of proportion and they will have to make a big fat settlement. Artists feel free to reach out to me The ATif (I am on Spotify, and Apple Music and with the theatif net) and we can file a class action lawsuit to get compensated for our lost time, blocked catalog, and interests/penalties/damages against our lost royalties.

Scam. They locked my account for "artificial streaming" on Resso even tho i had only one stream there.
They wont show evidence of the claims the throw at me. Never use them!

The fact that there was a willingness on songtradr’s end to get the issue resolved and how fast the attended to the issue at hand was commendable. I honestly can’t complain about anything.

The support team has always answered my questions quickly. The songs haven't provided much income, but there are many good professionals competing. Also, the online milieu becomes more complicated daily, so I don't feel qualified to make any kind of informed analysis about it.

I was able to have my music distributed for me from my phone and it took about half an hour all told each time I've released an album. They get my music on sites that I would have never even thought of and probably never found if I spent the rest of my life searching the internet. My music is global thanks to something I signed up for for free and thought was good enough that I went ahead and paid for the next year. I needed some help recently and they were able to answer my questions quickly and efficiently and took care of the change that I needed in my services in a timely manner.

Songtradr can't provide any proof of artificial streams, they can't even provide a proof from DSPs.
...they only keep insisting that songs were removed by DSPs not them due to Artificial Streams, but it's fun to note that there was never a warning and they were actually the ones who terminated the account not DSPs; and technically Songtradr is saying if you get 5k streams in a day and did not get up to that figure the following days it's artificial streaming so technically that's like saying if your song was ever placed on a playlist that had lots of followers it must not be taken off.

Artists get scammed all the time.

The reps at Songtradr are very helpful and understanding. I had a question about the Monetization Portal, and they were quick to reply with an honest answer to my question. They are a very good company with people who care.

Without any warning or notification concerning a case of Artificial Streaming, Songtradr sends a mail that starts with "At this time, all releases have been blocked due to numerous artificial streaming strikes and you are no longer able to use Songtradr services." which unfortunately ends with "All funds will be withheld and subject to review pending potential claw back from DSPs. We will revisit your account after this period and if we have received no claw backs from DSPs, your funds will be used to benefit the music community in a manner of our choosing."
...technically this is clean fraud that's protected by their so called service agreement.
Artists and labels beware, Songtradr is a Scam.

Response to my query was prompt and the issue sorted without any problems

I'm a fairly recent sign-up to Songtradr.com. Needless to say, I've had a few questions. From my experiences with other Internet companies, I didn't hold out much hope that I'd ever hear back from them. I was wrong! The folks at Songtradr responded with precise answers and clear instructions in very short order. They're a pleasure with whom to do business!

I was able to change my album art in a timely fashion, they did their jobs, which is why I love being a customer of songtradr.com as well as one of the fellow artists RazorticK.

For me, SongTradr is good enough for an independent artist like me. Their support team is nice and helpful. The site is also great. They send my songs free of charge with more than 20+ digital platforms (before the new terms). But SongTradr also has a weakness such as uncompleted form (split, producer, writer). This is important to me because I do a collab with a lot of people. As I say, the site is good but not complete because I can't put my producer and collaborator but overall, I recommended this distribution if you want to start as a beginner.

Songtradr is fraud.. They are not pay any payment

Songtradr have done so much great things for me in this my music career that they don't even know.
Im so glad that i discovered the company at the right time.
