Smyth And Associates Anmeldelser

Séamus was recommended to us to complete a level 3 survey. Séamus responded in a timely manner and completed the survery and report incredibly quickly.

Would highly recommend and would definitely use his services again.

I would 100% recommend Seamus. He arranged to inspect the property at very short notice and turned around a comprehensive report incredibly quickly, which was invaluable during a stressful process.
What really impressed me was the time he spent going through the report with me. He explained everything clearly, made sure I understood every possible implication of the purchase, and answered all of my questions with patience and honesty. His knowledge and expertise are second to none, and I genuinely felt that he had my best interests at heart rather than just completing the job. I'm incredibly grateful for the clarity and confidence his report gave me to make the right decision.
Throughout the entire process he was approachable, friendly, professional, and genuinely cared. I will definitely use him again for any future property purchases and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a first-class surveyor.

The service provided by Smyth And Associates was of a high standard. Detailed questions were asked prior to the inspection of the property to ensure that they had as much information possible before attending the property to ensure that the inspection and report was as comprehensive as possible.

I would definitely use them again and would recommend Smyth And Associates to friends and family.

Cannot fault Seamus in any way , very thorough and very helpful. Answered all our questions and explained everything in understandable terms . He leaves no stone unturned in his inspections . I would highly recommend him to survey. Don’t think I would go anywhere else now.

Séamus was thorough and efficient. Walked me through the report and made sure I'm going into buying my first house with my eyes wide open.

The whole process was easy and efficient. Big thanks to Seamus who carried out our survey. Very detailed and thorough. Also was happy to clarify and go through a few defects. Thank you seamus!

An exceptionally well written and informative report on our house, that has thrown a clear light on its faults. We can definitely recommend Smyth and Associates as excellent surveyors. Their advice has been invaluable.

Seamus is much more hands on than surveyors we have used previously, he will contact you personally when you are looking to arrange the survey and I found him very friendly and approachable. The survey itself was carried out very promptly and we received the extremely detailed report 5 days later. I think if you had not received a survey report before, you might be worried by all the issues that Seamus will discover and raise, but he was happy to chat for over half an hour after we had digested the report to reassure us that it was a house worth buying. He produced 2 reports for us, a detailed 'Extract Report' that is for the purpose of sending to the vendors, to negotiate the price down, as well as an even more detailed report for us. I have had good surveys done in the past, but have always had to put together the equivalent of the 'Extract Report' myself, so this saved me many hours of work and was more professional. Both reports use a drone (I assume) to take photos of the roof etc etc and all the many photos and written info on what was urgent etc was really helpful. I would not hesitate to use Seamus again, if we buy another house in this area. He may not be the cheapest, but you definitely get a top class service.

Séamus was informative, friendly, and managed to turn around a sizable and thorough report with 48 hours

Séamus came highly recommended and I can clearly see why. He was extremely professional and straightforward, and the process was easy from start to finish. The resulting report was also much more in-depth and thorough than others I've seen.

Séamus surveyed the property we were interested in buying, uncovering numerous faults in his detailed report that needed to be corrected, and offered advice about the nature of the faults and subsequent steps to resolve the issues.

Really detailed and informative report. Broken down section by section, which made it easy to digest.

Informed Séamus that we needed to complete asap and he turned around a great quality survey in super quick time. So super grateful and would highly recommen!

Séamus’ survey has been fantastic in helping us to make a more informed decision about the property we are buying. As first time buyers the whole thing has been stressful, but the report has allowed us to feel much more in control of how we proceed, and definitely saved us significantly in the long run!
There is a lot of detail, but it’s worth the time to understand given the cost of a house.
Thanks again Séamus

Seamus' report on the property we are purchasing gave us tremendous insight into the property we will be inheriting. His attention to detail is second to none and has left us feeling that no stone has been left unturned. Indeed, he pointed out an issue which our legal advisors had not noticed saving us a rather large headache prior to completion. Seamus has been available on the other end of the phone for any questions we had about his report and we cannot fault his service at all. Highly recommend. Worth every penny.

The whole experience with Smyth and Associates was excellent. Seamus was brilliant from our first enquiry, all the way through to our conversation about the building survey report. The report was clear and detailed, giving us everything we needed to make an informed decision about our potential house purchase. It was also forwarded to us well within the timescales originally stated. Seamus is a chartered surveyor in whom we had full confidence and trust. We will have no hesitation in using Smyth and Associates in the future.

Seamus is incredible! He was recommended to us by another surveyor who said the quality of his work is outstanding. He completed a full building survey on our potential family home. My first encounter with a surveyor and he is truly inspirational. So knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, hard working, passionate and committed to his work. His report is so comprehensive - amazingly detailed with high quality helpful photos. He has excellent communication skills. As it was my first time going through this process, he has been extremely patient, kind and generous with his time by guiding me through this process. We are very grateful for his work and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a survey!!!

Easy to contact, good communication and report delivered in a timely fashion.

Seamus was extremely professional and helping, offering expert advice to help me make an educated decision.

Excellent service from Seamus - would not use anyone else when purchasing a home. Detailed report with photos to understand any areas of concern and much better to see visually. Seamus even gave us a quick run through before the official report was delivered. Honest and trustworthy would highly recommend - prompt and very efficient service with rough price guide for any work required which helps with negotiations. Thank you!

Seamus completed a Building Survey on the property I was in the process of purchasing. He went above and beyond, performing it quickly (and even giving me a heads up on a couple of major concerns before he had written the report!) His communication was brilliant, and report extremely detail, including rough costs of work to remedy defects.
