Great customer service

Lynne was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, she saved us money and gave some good advice on broadband and phone packages.

The worst experience of my life!

I have had one of the worst customer experiences of my life dealing with Sky over the past three years.
My monthly payments were increased multiple times (more than five occasions) without any clear or prior notification. These increases were applied automatically via direct debit, despite my understanding that I had agreed to a fixed-term contract, aside from standard inflation adjustments.
When I raised concerns, my issues were repeatedly logged as “queries” rather than formal complaints, which significantly delayed any proper investigation. On one occasion, I was even told by a supervisor that my complaint would be escalated to a resolution team with a response expected within 6–8 weeks — however, no response was ever received.
I also had a concerning experience with Sky sales representatives in a shopping centre, who informed me that certain deals had not been disclosed to me and suggested cancelling my contract and opening a new one under my wife’s name. I found this advice highly inappropriate and misleading, and it raised serious concerns about the company’s sales practices.
Due to the ongoing billing issues, I eventually stopped payments, at which point my account was restricted and I was unable to contact Sky support, as all communication channels redirected me to payment demands. This left me effectively blocked from resolving the issue.
Despite escalating the matter and following the proper complaints process, Sky concluded that there was no fault on their side and required full payment, including the threat of debt collection (if the payment is not received). I paid the amount under pressure to avoid further consequences.
Overall, this experience reflects a lack of transparency, poor complaint handling, and inadequate customer support. I would strongly advise others to carefully monitor their billing and be cautious when entering into contract with Sky!
