Stop hanging around waiting for publishers to reject your book. Send your submissions to them by all means, but the industry is so bogged down, that the chance of being one of the lucky ones is very limited. If you want to see your book in print within a few months, then this is the way to go. Self publish your novel with a reputable and professional company who will assist you all the way to selling lots of books.

I will probably only ever write one book in my life so I was determined to get it right. After contacting various companies about publishing my book, SilverWood seemed the outstanding candidates and I was not disappointed.
From submitting my manuscript to marketing the published book, I can't believe the level of personal and friendly service provided by Helen. I received excellent advice and felt supported throughout the entire process. I was delighted with the finished product which looks extremely professional and exceeded my expectations.
In my experience, a lot of companies lose interest once you've signed the contract or paid the fee. This was definitely not the case with SilverWood who responded to my many questions and queries almost immediately with patience and kindness beyond what you could reasonably expect.
If you just want the cheapest publisher, you will need to look elsewhere. If you believe your hard work deserves the five-star treatment and to be transformed into a top-quality publication, I wholeheartedly recommend SilverWood Books.

I was initially pleased with the friendly and seemingly professional service from Silverwood and consequently gave an excellent review. Sadly it was only when bloggers and purchasers of my book started to point out the problems in my debut novel that I realised that, having paid for a proofread, my novel had been printed with over 1,000 errors. Although Silverwood eventually corrected the errors when they forwarded what they assured me was a “print ready”copy for the second edition it was printed with a further error that they had inserted post proof! All this meant that my novel wasn’t available at a crucial time for sales. The distress, embarrassment and financial hardship this company has caused me is huge and devastating. I’ve since made contact with other authors and it seems I’m not alone in this revelation when people actually manage to sell their books. Since taking over the distribution of my book my sales have more than tripled. If you use this company expect to pay them an on going 15% of your RRP - no matter the actual sales price. Check the t&c in detail before signing your beautiful story away.

I'm not an author, however my daughter is and having used their editing services in my opinion they were unprofessional allowing multiple errors to be published. They have little or no interest in author support.
