I placed an order 14 days ago, and I am still waiting. The order was paid immediately, but it hasn’t even been shipped.
I have contacted customer service multiple times, and each time I receive the same response: the issue is “under internal review.” However, no one has provided any clear update or a delivery date. This is extremely frustrating, especially since the delivery was originally supposed to take only 3–5 working days.
At this point, the lack of communication and reliability is unacceptable.
I strongly recommend ordering from a more reliable company
Not pleased with Shiseido
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Shiseido. I placed an order, but never received an email confirmation. When I checked my account, it showed an order was placed, but clicking on it revealed *no purchase history*. Assuming it was an error, I placed a second order and paid again. Initially, the second order appeared in my purchase history, but by the next day, it was gone—again showing no record of any purchase.
Thankfully, I had the foresight to take a screenshot of the order number. I reached out to customer support to resolve the issue, but it has been *two days*, and I have received no response. Meanwhile, my money has been deducted, and I have no way to track either order.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I am deeply dissatisfied.

I ordered an item 11.11.22. I didn't take my order. I think they took the wrong address. I had to return the item without receiving it. I'm still waiting for my money back. I never recommend it!

Shiseido is one of my favorite luxury skincare brands. This Japanese brand carries several luxury creams, SPF creams, retinols/retinoids, masks, and several different types of serums. I've had my SPF 50 facial sunscreen and it's perfect for my skin type. It absolutely blends flawlessly with my skin, leaves no white cast, and makes my skin feel so refreshed and protected. I love their products, however the prices can be ridiculous. Definitely buy if you want to treat yourself!

I have used several Shiseido products…
I have used several Shiseido products over the course of 10 years (in particular the men's cleansing foam) both within Japan and without and have not had anything but a positive experience with them. I am going with 4 stars because I've never had to actually interact with the company, so cannot comment on customer service, though the reps in places like Takashima-ya are always excellent.
Caution if smell sensitivity
I always used the black bottle of Shiseido Zen perfume. They now sell Zen in a square gold bottle. Before buying it, since I have a high sensitivity to smells, I called Shiseido to be sure the formula was the same. I was promised there had been no changes. My husband bought me a bottle for Christmas. Due to Covid, I've been out very little. When I finally put on the perfume, I quickly started getting a terrible headache. I got online and saw that the new perfume has a different formula than the old one I used. Now it has been over 30 days and I can't return the perfume. I called Shiseido to see if they would be wiling to assist me since they informed me incorrectly and I would never have bought the perfume knowing the formula was different. They took no responsibility and would not do anything to help!
Shiseido did not honour their order
Shiseido did not honour their order. I ordered a product in Jan 10 2021. But after order i did not received any further information. I called the customer service at 20 Jan 2021. The lady (Jennifer) in the customer service said that the products I ordered was out of stock and no more left. I was told that company would not send me the products ordered to me. She claimed the company did not charge me so it was fair to cancel the order. I am sorry to say that it is not true and she was lying. The company still has the same products on the company website but in different prices (full price £100). When I purchased, it was on sale and 33% off the full price (£67) . I Do not think it is fair for me and any other customers in the same situation?
Now I ask the Shiseido to send me the same product I ordered at 10 Jan 2021. No any excuse and delay.
Month and a half and order not delivered!!
Absolute disgrace of a company. Ordered a Christmas present for my mum on 1 December. The order has been since stuck “in preparation” and not even shipped yet!! I called their customer centre in the UK three times before Christmas enquiring where is my order, absolutely unhelpful and outright lying the order would be shipped in “the next couple of days”. When it was clear it won’t arrive on time not only I had to buy a different present but was told I can’t even cancel the order despite no longer needing it and that my only option is to wait for it to arrive and then return it. Fine - I thought surely it will arrive just after Christmas. 9 January it hasn’t been shipped and I’m moving out of my flat in the next week and so I can’t even receive the package to return it. Absolute money wasted and no help from Shiseido.
Honestly, do yourself a favour and by from John Lewis and you know you will have the delivery in the next day.
Disgrace and disappointment despite the actual products being very good (once you manage to get them!)

Missing product from order, no communication
I'm incredibly disappointed with the shiseidoUK customer service online. I ordered two items online over £100. Unfortunately I only received one item.
Immediately I emailed customer service with a photo of the items as I had opened the parcel. I notified shiseido the moment I opened the parcel. I have now been chasing up a refund for the last 3 weeks.
I initially simply just wanted a replacement for the item that was not sent to me, but I was told that it was not possible as they would need to do an internal investigation and I would only be able to receive a refund. This was fine, I filled out their honour form to acknowledge that I had not received an item. I was expecting a confirmation or acknowledgement that a refund was in the process after I'd sent the 'honour declaration'. In similar situations, most companies would resend the missing item, with an apology and usually a discount off the next order. I have not received any sort of acknowledgement or follow up email even regarding a refund.
I expect more of an effort when the error is of the company. Errors happen, and I completely understand, but after 3 weeks of little communication or reassurances I'm not really sure what else I could do. I absolutely love the products but I am very disappointed in the online service.
I normally purchase shiseido products in store, but with being incredibly busy at work due to COVID, I thought ordering online would be the best option. Considering the cream that was missing from my order was £59.00, I am hesitant to now order another cream when i and not received a refund. It's frustrating as I expected better customer service. It's sadly now given me a bad impression on the company, which is unfortunate as I am a huge fan of the products.

The worst online shopping experience with Shiseido UK. Placed an order of 5 items 10 days ago. Received order confirmation by email instantly. Everything looked normal. After 10 days, no communication, no update on order status. Emailed customer service, two days later got a reply with order cancellation of the whole order. I was told one of the item was out of stock. So they had to cancel the whole order. Well, Shiseido UK had 10 days to process of an order without realising one of the item was out of stock?! Why not ship the rest of the order in stock instead of cancelling whole order? Shameful customer service. Horrible online ordering system. I will never buy from Shiseido UK again.
Terrible service in UK, very disappointed
Ordered powder from Shiseido.co.uk and they have delivered wrong item. As it’s COVID 19 going on I’ve phoned customer services for an advise what to do and was told to order another one, keep the first one for a bit longer as they extended to 100 days returns and cannot accept it back just now. Ordered second one and again got a wrong item. Raised a couple of complaints - nothing! Managed to return the first one but second one got stuck as website kept crashing. Back on the phone again trying to get that sorted.. returning second one was a nightmare as nothing was straight forward. Yet again from the company not even a sorry, not even acknowledging their error. Will not be rushing to order again or give a recommendation

horrible service from Shiseido Singapore! Sent Birthday cards to members offering complimentary facial, thereafter informed customers they are not entitled to that. No apologies, the person who replied to complaints didn't even identify her/her name! Shiseido Singapore, it sucks!
Shiseido saved my life!
Thanks to Shiseido, I can live life normally again. My skin is overly sensitive and sebum is out of control. I have been to 5 dermatologists and none could solve my problem. I recently had a hormone test as well, I keep being told that I am healthy, yet anything I use as a cream has no effect on me. My skin cracks, gets rashes, gets irritated, in rare cases it might even bleed. 14 years I had been fighting this problem, ever since I was becoming a teenager. I was ready to try another doctor, but I decided to try the Shiseido face creams as well.... it's been 2 years now and my skin is normal again. Of course I keep using Shiseido, I have all the reasons to. My skin feels light and natural, the perfume is very discreet and there are no signs of rash or dryness.
Thank you, Shiseido for bringing back the comfort of being in my own skin again. I am forever in your debt and I will recommend this brand to everyone. For some you are a luxury and for those like me you are like air, a blessing, the only change to find relief. Thank you for your care and great work ethics. You are you dream company. Please never change!
