Help after failed exam
I failed an exam and needed help to understand where I went wrong. Ahmed was super helpful and went through how to answer the questions and how to approach it. He also got back to me within like the next day and already had the call 2 days later. He has made me feel confident and at ease for me to do the resit. Would recommend him and Shields 100%

an enjoyable experience
I have recently studied with shields for my nebosh diploma, the website is easy to use, follow and understand, the course material is clear and concise, its also easy to contact tutors or assistants if required, emails are answered promptly, followed up with phone calls if required, would recommend this method of study to anyone. I have completed my exam, and submitted the papers. all in all an enjoyable experience, I thought the exam would be quite daunting, actually I had all the information and answers at my fingertips, shields guided me in the right direction.

After leaving the military some time…
After leaving the military some time ago, I was at a bit of a loss when it came to changing careers and retraining. Leah Frayne was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, offering guidance, support and encouragement when I needed it most.

I needed assistance to get an extension…
I needed assistance to get an extension for my course. I wasn't sure how to do this, so just sent a general email.
Leah responded to me and was super helpful in giving me the options to choose from, payment, etc.
Her communication style was really friendly, informative and prompt. This was important to me, because I'm in New Zealand, so I needed it to be easy. She did exactly that and made it super easy to get everything done.

SHEilds used to be a 5 star provider
SHEilds used to be a 5 star provider. I have read the previous 1 star reviews - what has happened this year guys? My 1 Star review unfortunately is in 2 parts.
1. I am still awaiting my completed NEBOSH fire safety certificate. I live in the UK - paid for Royal Mail special delivery - should only take one day for delivery, it has now been nearly 2 weeks. I have checked the tracking everyday since your adviser told me it has been "delivered" - nothing. I paid £5 for less than normal 2nd class delivery.
2. I have failed my NEBOSH award in Accident Investigation. This is a 3 part complaint.
- Firstly the course content within the learning section of the program is terrible and does not support the actual exam. I had to research a lot on the internet for this course. So why bother with the course material?
- Secondly the course in my opinion is not titled correctly should be called "NEBOSH Interview Techniques" not "Accident Investigation". The course is mostly concentrated on an interview and interviewing techniques.
- Thirdly - Believe your examiners need to be on the same page. So on my first "Refer" the examiner stated what was Ok and what was not Ok. Fair enough. So I went back and re-did my exam. Upon the second examiner checking the exam what was OK for the first examiner was now not OK for the second examiner - guys seriously??
Fourth Point - When wanting to extend the course - I can now no longer access the course as it has now expired.
I have one more course active with Sheilds. Think that will be the last. Sorry guys don't know what has happened in the last year but the service has dived!

I am sorry to hear you have not yet received your certificate, unfortunately once the certificate has been shipped this is out of our control. If you have still not received your certificate please do contact our admin team via adminsupport@SHEilds.org. They will be able to advise you on a replacement.
The course is entitled NEBOSH HSE introduction to incident investigation - NEBOSH decide the name and the content so our course is designed against the awarding bodies requirements and follows their syllabus.
All our examiners follow the same NEBOSH syllabus, but if they feel the previous examiner has been too lenient/harsh then they can amend the previous feedback (as the awarding body may do also).
If you would like to extend your course please do reach out to your course adviser, who would be happy to assist you.
