The hotel was in an isolated location which meant it was impossible to go out at night. There was only entertainment on Tuesday and Wednesday both of which were very poor. I did enjoy seeing red squirrels but you had to be very fit to do so

Dear Kathy,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your 3-star review.

We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed seeing the red squirrels during your Rail and Sail the Lake District holiday. We appreciate your comments regarding the hotel's location and understand that its isolated setting limited opportunities to go out in the evenings.

We're also sorry to hear that the evening entertainment did not meet your expectations. Your feedback about both the entertainment and the accessibility of the red squirrel experience is valuable, and we will share your comments with the relevant teams for review.

Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on another Shearings holiday in the future.

Warm regards,

Customer Relations SB
