Brought them a lens with the zoom broken after an impact damage. Sendean quoted me £470 for the repair. Which couldn't be right as the lens can be actually bought for that price in a near-new condition. I enquired elsewhere and was informed that the cost of the spares (barrel replacement) is £90 + £90-100 for work. So I got it fixed elsewhere by the mail order for the total of £180, i. e. 2.5 times less. The lens works and looks like new.
I can not comment on the quality of Sendean repairs but they may overcharge you as much as 3 times, and even if they give you a discount, you may still pay extra 100% compared to other companies. So check out other reviews with <3 stars and do your research.

The whole experience was professional and Sendean did exactly what they said they were going to do in the time frame advised when I first approached them.

From the response to my initial enquiry, about whether a camera which had been "dead" for several years (and which several other firms said was unrepairable because they couldn't get the parts) Sendean Cameras made me feel like I was in safe hands. But more than that, every step of the repair process went smoothly, with regular updates and confirmations of repair status until, only a few weeks after sending it off to be fixed (and within the estimated time) I received notification the repairs and service had been completed. Needless to say, the camera which others had given up on, is working like new.

I found them via a Google search for film camera repair in my area. I needed an Olympus Muji 2 extensively repaired. They were very helpful when I brought in my camera, and clearly explained their process (send out for evaluation send quote, repair if quote accepted + paid). They sent a repair quote in a timely manner, and it was very clearly laid out what was going into the cost of repairs and how long it would take. Camera was returned in amazing condition, much better even then when I bought it second-hand. Highly recommend for any camera repair needs!

The repair service provided by Sender Cameras is excellent. The initial estimate of cost is prompt and very reasonably priced. The option for a full service of the camera, over and above a simple repair, restores the camera's functionality to as good as new. Even in situations where certain camera parts are no longer manufactured Sendean finds a way to source them. The repair work is of an extremely high quality. I have no hesitation in recommending Sendean.

I needed to fix my XPan 45mm Hasselblad lens, Sendean Cameras was the only place prepared to give me an estimate and take the job. Everybody else (I did look everywhere, including Hasselblad in Sweden!) simply said it would be impossible to get the necessary parts.
The lens works perfectly again, everything done within the time frame given, including my request to speed it up so I could take the lens on a trip booked before the service was requested.

I tried all over the place to try and find a company who would repair my Leicina Super 8 film camera. I found Sendean in London and a company in Berlin who offered to look at my camera. Sendean inspected my camera which is around 50 years old and had a very noisy motor and intermittent zoom motor. It required a full service , lubrication and calibration. My camera was with them for about and month. I was very happy with the repair the camera performed like new giving me confidence to start shooting some film. It didnt come cheap but I believe if you have a good camera its worth spending the money on . I have another super 8 camera which needs the same treatment and will be arranging to send this to them
The process is easy post your camera to them, they provide a quote if you agree to the cost they repair the camera and securely post it back.

Have had 2 Lens Fixed by Sendean Cameras. Canon 300 mm 2.8 and Canon 24 - 70 mm 2.8 Lens. Very Pleased by This Company 👌 They are Professionals of Their Trade. They were Recommend by a Friend who aslo work done by Them. Both of Us have not been Disappointed. It's Expensive to have My Equipment fixed but I have Brand New Lens to last My Lifetime. I contacted Sendean regarding water compromising my lens and body, and they confirmed that this was something they could undertake. Lens and body were stripped, cleaned, overhauled and serviced. Turnaround time was as quoted, and they contacted me when my gear was ready collect. I swear my lens was in better condition after Sendean’s work than when I bought it new. Superb – would thoroughly recommend.
