Never again!
I was on the phone discussing a car I was interested in, to reserve, and was asked how to spell my name. Well, the response I received was "Couldn't you have gotten an easier name". I couldn’t believe my ears!!! One of the worst thing I've heard. My name is easy to say, easy to spell - it's a beautiful two syllable French name.
The next day, (different salesman to the one on the phone) was in the office. I mean, talk about not smiling - we recieved the death stare as if my existence was terribling him !!!
I had taken the car for a test drive and noticed the biting point was very high and the brakes were worn. I had asked if these were going to be looked at before I decide to buy them as safety is important. I received VERY misogynistic, manslaining responses. I've driven enough cars to know what I am looking for!
I even got told "if I don't like the car, then take your money elsewhere". SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know if it's because I am a women, or that I am black but treatment i recieved from both the salesman has scared me for life.
