We ordered a bathroom from Victoria Plum and got messed about for weeks and eventually told our bathroom wouldn't be delivered until after Christmas when we ordered way in advance. We decided to cancel our order with them and told them to shove it basically. Went into Leeds Selco and asked about their bathrooms a lovely man called Steve helped us for over an hour picking our bathroom, walking us around the warehouse to look at stock we could take there and then. We got a full bathroom suite, shower and towel radiator for £700. They delivered it on a Sunday for us as we work all week! Perfect customer service from start to end. Made our Christmas. We will now have our bathroom ready within weeks. DO NOT ever buy from Victoria Plum. Thank you to Selco for everything. Merry Christmas

saw adverts for earthwool loft insulation for £9.99 on billboards so went in as i needed some. only when i got there did i realise that it was half the price because it was half the size. obviously it looked the same size as a normal standard size roll on the picture. did they really think we wouldn't notice??

Unfortunately my sister died recently. Just prior to her death she had ordered c£550 worth of goods from Selco. We informed the branch of her death and cancelled the order, but as we didn't have her credit card with which the goods were paid for they weren't able to make a refund back to the card. So far so good; branch staff were very good, shame about the accounts department. A very rude lady in accounts was totally unsympathetic. When I tried to explain just kept insisting I tell her my account number or else she would speak to me, which I obviously hadn't got.
She finally listened and told me the person I needed to talk to wasn't there (they never are!!!), but to send an email explaining (more for me to have to deal with!!!!). That was over a week ago, still not heard anything.
If that's how they treat someone in my situation you can just imagine what they'd be like with their customers.
I'm sure I'll get no response to this Trust Pilot review. So plan to take this to the papers. Well done Selco!!!!!!!!!!!
Firstly

I have been a customer at Selco for over 10 years and am in the middle of a job of which 95% of materials have been bought from Selco , i have just changed my card details only to be told I have to come into store to register , this is the only company that have requested this dark age transition , i said I would go elsewhere if they can not do the payment or register me over the phone, to which the reply was "OK".Really is this the way to keep customers ?

I had contacted the branch in advanced to enquire about stock.
I was informed they had all 5 doors I needed for a job.
When I arrived early in the morning they had none in stock. I was passed around the store staff for two hours and got nowhere.

I placed orders on the phone and payed then the day the Order is ment to be delivered nothing turns up with out a phone call. One week later no order then 2 days after that order comes with items broke in transit due to numpties loading the vans. My kids can load the vans beta than them monkeys!!!!
Coming from a big Compeny like these is just disgusting custemer service!!!!

A great place for traders and businesses. They usually have evrything you want. Their kitchens are good value.
