We would like to clarify several points in your updated review because some of the statements do not reflect the communication history of your order.
You placed Order #4857 on September 29 at 12:38. At 12:51, you contacted us regarding the stock notification you had seen for the antenna. We replied at 12:56 — approximately five minutes later — explaining that one unit was still available and had been reserved by your order. We also offered to remove the antenna and refund it if you did not want it. At 13:04, you replied confirming that you did want the antenna.
Therefore, your initial message was not ignored, and we did not only respond after this Trustpilot review.
We fully understand that the stock notification was confusing, and we are sorry for that. The notification and the actual stock reservation did not display consistently, which is why you saw an out-of-stock message even though the final unit was successfully allocated to your order.
You contacted us again on September 30 asking whether the order had shipped. At the time this review was posted, the order was still being processed and had not yet been dispatched.
Regarding the comments suggesting that SDRstore is a scam or is pretending to operate from the EU: SDRstore is a legitimate retailer. We fulfil orders through both European warehouse stock and trusted international suppliers depending on the product and availability. This allows us to carry a much wider range of specialised SDR equipment. We do not claim that every individual product is physically stocked in the EU.
After seeing your statement that you intended to initiate a chargeback, and because the order had not yet been shipped, we decided that the most appropriate course of action was to cancel the order rather than send merchandise while a payment dispute was being threatened.
Order #4857 has therefore been cancelled and the full €458.76 is being refunded to the original payment method.
We also acknowledge your comments regarding the telephone line and website availability and will review these separately.
We are sorry that this transaction resulted in a negative experience, but we wanted to provide the complete timeline so that readers can make their own assessment based on the facts.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected staff shortage, your order was not processed and dispatched within the expected timeframe. We understand how frustrating this was, especially after you had already contacted us several times for an update.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

At the time your order was placed, the item was still available to order and the manufacturer had informed us that production would continue. Unfortunately, they later confirmed that they had production issues and decided to discontinue the product.

Regarding customer service, we could not find any email from you about this issue. We also apologize that we did not contact you sooner. Since your order contained multiple items, we were not able to easily identify that this discontinued item was still pending in your order.

Hello Cam,
We would like to add an update for clarity.
Your order was placed on April 4, 2026 and shipped on April 7, 2026. On April 13, 2026 at 19:13, you contacted us outside working hours regarding the tracking, and we still responded by email at 19:20, just 7 minutes later.
In our reply, we explained that UniUni is only the last-mile carrier in Canada and does not handle the full international journey. At that stage, the parcel had already arrived in the destination country and was proceeding through the normal process of customs clearance and handover for final delivery. We also explained that there was nothing you needed to do while customs was being cleared.
We would also like to note that the parcel has since been delivered successfully.
We understand that limited tracking updates can be frustrating, especially for an expensive order, but the shipment was moving normally and we responded promptly with the available information.

We’re sorry for the frustration, but this order was placed for a backordered item, specifically the RTL-SDR V4 Kit. The product page clearly showed that the item was on backorder at the time the order was placed and did not display as in stock.

Because of that, the delay is related to stock availability, not a lack of service. We also understand your concern regarding the cancellation option, and we apologize if that did not work correctly on the website.

We’re sorry for the frustration this situation has caused.

To clarify a few important points in your review:

We did respond once we located your earlier messages. Unfortunately, we have recently been targeted by a large volume of spam emails, and we must manually review messages to avoid missing real customer requests. This caused a delay, but we did not ignore you.

The shipping/hand-over date is shown in your order details page, and your parcel was shipped on 24 February. We also had a visible website notice that, due to a warehouse migration, orders placed from 13 February onward would start shipping from 25 February (this dispatch window is the reason for the delay).

The tracking number may not appear in Finnish Post immediately because Finnish Post is not the carrier for the full route. The parcel is transported internationally first, and tracking in the Finnish Post system typically starts once the shipment arrives in Finland and is scanned by the last-mile carrier.

This is not dropshipping and you will not be asked to pay VAT on delivery — taxes are prepaid by us where applicable.

Because the shipment has taken longer than expected, our system automatically triggered an investigation with the carrier, and we are currently awaiting their official response. You also mentioned that you opened a chargeback with your card provider, so we will cooperate fully and provide any requested shipment and tracking documentation to them.

Your order remains fully protected: if the parcel is confirmed lost, we will offer a replacement or a full refund. If the parcel arrives while the case is ongoing, we will assist you immediately with the return process, as you requested.

1. The 950g Weight: Logistics weights are not determined by the delivery driver, but by automated, calibrated scales used by the carrier at multiple checkpoints during transit. These logs verified a weight of 950g. A standard empty cardboard box weighs approximately 60g.

2. The December Correspondence: To clarify, our apology on Dec 31st was for the delay in our response due to the high volume of holiday messages while we were beginning the formal investigation. It was not an admission of a missing product, as we were still awaiting the official carrier data at that time.

3. The Photos and Documentation: We reviewed the photos you sent on Dec 22nd and the ones provided recently. Because you confirmed the package arrived 'in hand' and 'unopened,' our investigation prioritized the physical weight logs. If a box is untampered and registers 950g on a scale, the contents are documented as present.

4. Resolution Process: We fully agree that involving the authorities is the best way to resolve the discrepancy between the carrier's verified data and your experience. We have requested the Police Report and Case Number so we can formally provide our weight certificates and timestamps to the investigating officer. ​1. The Timeline: At the time of this review, your international order has been in transit for only 2 business days. It is well within the 5–7 business day window provided at checkout. Labeling a shipment a "failure" before the delivery window has even reached the halfway point is premature.
​2. Communication: We have not been "radio silent." Our team responded to you 5 times today alone, often within minutes of your emails. Claiming a lack of communication when we were engaged in an active, real-time dialogue is factually incorrect.
​3. Tracking Logistics: As we explained, the "unknown" status on Evri’s domestic site is because the parcel is currently in international transit and has not yet reached the UK network for its first local scan. This is standard for international shipping and does not indicate a lost parcel.
​4. Transparency & Carriers: "Standard Shipping" is a consolidated service designed to keep costs low. While we updated our delivery page to be even more granular regarding local UK partners based on your feedback, the service level and delivery timeframe remain exactly as promised at checkout.
​5. Security: Your £300 order is fully insured. You face zero financial risk. We have tracked thousands of these shipments, and they arrive as expected once they clear the UK border.

We have no record of any completed order under the reviewer’s name, and we have not shipped any order to this person that could have “arrived after 4 weeks from China” or resulted in duty charges.

Based on the timing and repeated pattern, we believe this is the same individual who has already posted multiple 1-star reviews under different names with inconsistent claims, apparently to damage our reputation.
