Delivery men were polite & friendly. They showed their experience at handling the furniture in tight places. Taking the packing away is great. The furniture looks & feels good. All in all a good deal.

Extremely helpful and professional customer care. Explanation of purchase and delivery details were made in a clear and concise way.

Paula and Matthew were very helpful but also gave us space to look around and to decide what was best for us. Could not have given better service. All the staff were very friendly.

From going in to store to delivery everything was perfect. Matthew in store dealt with everything was no hard sales pressure. Delivery Crewe James and colleague were absolutely incredible delivered with care, compassion and bent over backwards nothing was too much trouble. Suites are over and above expected products and the whole service was outstanding.

However, I would like to say to the team when advertising your goods you need to also consider first point of measurement being to check the width of your access for the items and to mention this size in the sizing. Please take onboard all the info your amazing delivery Crewe feed back to you. They no best.

The staff were polite & helpful,helping us choose a colour & style that we liked. Never pressurised us or came on too strong.

Barbara was the sales assistant that explained everything to us at the Middlesbrough store, Skippers Lane. We were after a 3 seater sofa and a recliner chair. The sofa we showed an interest in was demonstrated to us by Barbara, it was an all singing and dancing model ( the sofa ) heated seats ! lumber support, head support. I was interested in this model because my wife has back and hip problem and theres just a chance the heat may make a difference. One thought though was on a night time with her snug and warm on the Sofa, How will I get her to go to Bed? ( sneak around and pull the plug).
We were also shown a superior Sofa, with a roll down central cushion that turned into a table with cup holders and mobile phone charger, we were only short of the seat belts - Eat your hearts out Virgin Atlantic, this vist was in deed a "First Class" Experience. Thank you Barbara and Team.

They couldn’t get the three seater , through the door, they said that they would take it back, I said no I would phone a friend, when my friend came, it took us less than two minutes to get it through the door and down the passage to the front room,

So far a poor experience with SCS, originally told the sofa would come the second week of March, that date came and went with no update. I tried reaching out via their Facebook chat, no response. Eventually I found that you can check online, again I waited for that date and it came and went. This time the delivery date had been pushed back by 2 weeks, I decided to call as I go away the following month. I opted to be on the auto call back no response for 2 days! I called again and the system said I was still in the queue from earlier in the week, I decided to wait 49 minutes last Wednesday on hold. No answer. I’ve checked again and my delivery has been delayed for a 3rd time, it’s now due less than a week before we go away. I’m concerned as the sales agent said make sure you’re in as they charge for failed delivery, the phone line says you get notified on the day or day before delivery. How does that work when it will have been delayed a month! Having given scs over a month to deliver this is concerning, and the lack of communication adds further concern making this experience bad. 2 stars for the unnecessary induced stress.

I just want to check I’m not going to have to foot the bill if I’m away when delivered. Please respond SCS.

Very poor customer services. Sofa delivered but table still hasn't arrived over 4 weeks later. Spoken to Customer Services at the time but nothing has happened.

The expected date of arrival into your distribution centre, for our furniture,has now changed for the fourth time and is now way outside the delivery timescales you keep advising customers of in your replies to complaints about this. Surely the time has come, for ScS, to stop giving customers expectations that ScS, as a company, know they cannot meet

I wish I had never set foot in your Middlesbrough store and had placed an order with another retailer .

And still your store database has Middlesbrough located in Co. Durham. I'm guessing that geography is not a strong point of whoever maintains your website.

Fantastic experience in the Middlesbrough Store. Lovely staff, not pushy at all. Informative, knowledgeable and helpful.

We mainly dealt with Barbara, who is an absolute gem of a lady and could not be more helpful. Also chatted with Connor who was equally friendly. The absolute bonus was that they were not pushy or hovering around us, which is what we've experienced in other stores, and even another local SCS.

Needless to say, after months of looking in many different stores across the region we placed an order.

Hopefully the experience will remain as positive when we take delivery.

In addition the store was immaculate and really nicely set out. There was a good range of different products available and the prices were excellent. Great that you can get any sofa in any fabric/leather/colour. You're not restricted to certain books of swatches for different sofas.

Overall, a really positive experience.

I was kept up to date on delivery time by emails Paul and Michael The 2 lads that delivered were very polite and very professional. They were very careful when entering the property to get the furniture indoors and set up my furniture in no time their manner was lovely I couldn't praise them more. Over the moon with my new furniture. Great service from ordering to delivery.

The lads that delivered the sofas were great knew exactly what they needed to do. Everything went great. When the first arrived one of them came to the door and asked if we were ok I said yes we are thanks he said there is a lot of blood out your front and I told him it was the lad next door had cut his leg. That shows how these lads were.

Excellent service from Lee Watson, he was pretty annoyed that one sofa we were going to buy had been sold but the ticket had not been removed by another work colleague. We found another sofa which we liked little more expensive but Lee was fantastic.
