The delivery men were very professional. They were polite and went out of their way to explain everything to us.

All the staff were friendly. My order was easily made. I was kept up to date regarding delivery. Delivery staff were excellent. I had to delay delivery due to unforeseen circumstances. This was dealt with compassionately. Well done.

Fast, efficient and caring

Kept informed right from the point our sofa arrived at the distribution centre when it would be delivered. Helpful to be able to track our delivery on the day and received a call when the crew were on their way to us. It enabled us to prepare for the sofa arriving.
Very professional crew. It was raining and they ensured our carpet stayed dry and clean by putting down a rug. The crew were fast and efficient which made our experience of SCS excellent.

SCS have been amazing, I ordered my sofa back in February and due to ongoing delays the completion has only just gone though. Steph in customer service has been amazing. The two guys that attended today kept my informed of my delivery and have had a nightmare, they couldn’t get the van thru the entrance and then getting the sofa in due to the location of a central beam, the had to take it around the back and through the patio doors … they were so pleasant and helpful … overall an amazing experience

The delivery experience was brilliant all the way through. I was kept informed all the way through about delivery time. They even phoned to let me know how long they would be. Got the job in no time at all. A great experience .

Sofa lovely service shocking waited just over 5 months for sofa to be delivered ment to be within 4 weeks then usb charging ports stopped working after 12 months paid £500 for extra cover and now there telling me they don’t cover the usb ports I have to pay a £75 call out fee for them to check it over and more they likely say the say they don’t cover so have to pay more place is a joke always check paper work they always try and con you throw loads of extra on top with telling you

I visited the store in Kidderminster with a few ideas on what style of sofas I liked .
Steph introduced herself to me when I entered and from that moment on she guided me through different options .
She really listened to what I liked and didn’t like and showed me about 6 options . Steph allowed me time to try them all several times .
She stepped away and would check back with me . She helped me enormously to make my decision . We talked about the colours and materials and looked at photos of my room . We even discussed paint options that would work well with my final purchase .
Steph you were amazing .
Your knowledge , enthusiasm and desire to help me make the right decision made a trip that could have been daunting and confusing into a really enjoyable event .

Our local ScS has been refurbished and is amazing!!
We were greeted warmly by Alice when we entered and she then left us to look around.
After looking round the vast choice and eventually choosing a recliner sofa and two chairs Alice gave us lots of advice on fabrics and colours helping us to make a final decision. Alice was very knowledgeable and patient, haha
The refurbishment really is lovely. Very relaxing and chilled. We have been looking for weeks and have experienced high pressure sales at other local stores. None of that here!!

I would give ScS zero stars for aftersales care if I could.
Following my review on 20/07/2025, ScS replied on Trustpilot saying they were awaiting clarification from their appointed inspection experts, Emmiera, to some items in their report and would respond as soon as received. Emmiera confirmed to me that this clarification had been posted on the ScS portal on 18/007/2025. It has taken three e-mail requests for their reply before a telephone call today, 31/07/2025, from ScS confirming their opinion that all the items raised from Emmiera's inspection are either wear and tear or routine maintenance problems and no further action will be forthcoming to rectify them.
This is despite the different verbal comments made to us by the technician during his inspection.
ScS have either rejected Emmiera's report or the report does not accurately portray the technician's comments. We have not seen the report or the clarification.
The ScS decision today comes 23 weeks after I first reported to them and I shall now pursue financial redress through Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
My advice to ScS is that your reputation is not only reflected in the wonderful sales experience in your posh shops but also in the appalling aftercare and customer treatment. I will definitely not set foot inside another ScS showroom and will steer clear of their suites.
Having said that, our suite is a G Plan Newmarket model which also gave me confidence at point of sale as our last G Plan lasted 10 years. It looks as though manufacturing standards have fallen since then if our latest suite is anything to go by.

Good communication on delivery times, with the delivery men telephoning to let us know they would be with us in half an hour. Damien & Ben were friendly and efficient, had the settee in and set up in no time at all. Very happy with the service.

We had visited a rival the day before and was put off by a seemingly pushy sales pitch and felt we were almost followed around the store and if we dared glance at something they were on us again, when all we wanted was to have a look around.

So it was great going to SCS in Kidderminster, we were greeted politely, encouraged to look around and if we needed anything the sales lady was near.

We had a couple of questions about a product which were answered really clearly along with some suggestions.

After a short while we settled on a style, set and colour and brought them.

We paid a bigger deposit than was requested and the credit was done over 3 years, at an amount which suited us, all very easy.

We were in there for about 40 minutes from start to finish and we both commented when we left how nice, friendly and knowledgeable the sales lady was.

So as well as an amazing product we are looking forward to getting big thumbs up to Alice at Kidderminster store for how you dealt with us .. Top Notch

Matt was my main point of contact and it was a pleasure dealing with him. I was moving back to Birmingham from Kidderminster and I’d ordered a sofa, which sadly was too big to get into my flat.

I spoke with Matt and returned to the store to select another sofa. Matt took me through different options, and I was happy with the sofa I chose.

While I was there Matt pointed out items that were on sale, so I came away with a rug and lamp table, saving a huge amount of money with the discounts.

My new sofa arrived today and looks lovely in my living room.
