Our whole experience of ordering our sofa was amazing. The staff in the shop were helpful, communication about its preparation and delivery were clear and the delivery team couldn’t have been better! Completely went out of their way to make sure it fitted perfectly - even after a challenge to get it in. Thank you for our perfect sofa! The quality on the leather was beyond expected!

The guys delivered the furniture on time and were very courteous and although they had to move a table to get the furniture in they put everything back after them

On the 5/9/25 we went to this store and we we had full intentions of buying a sofa ,I didn t want 0 % finance and we had left home without my husband's card ,the attitude of the sales man (wish I had got his name) was very condescending as if we were wasting his time ,I did say we would be bk today to purchase the sofa but after his remarks before we let the store I decided against returning to store and purchased the sofa online.this is why stores are closing !!!!

Bought what We were given to understand was a Leather Corner Lounge Suite. We've had the Suite for around 4 to 5 years . A hole on Both arms of the individual chair have appeared & a Leather Repair expert said this can't be repaired as it's FAUX. Visited SCS today NOT to complain but to ask if They could nominate a repairer. Surprise Surprise " We can't help You "

The team was prompt, polite and incredibly careful with my furniture, taking extra care not to damage anything and even placing it exactly where we wanted it. The quality of the items was excellent. Give this company a wide berth.
After 5 months of them having my money in their account, I was told they could not fulfill my order. They mislead you in every way. Customer service is non existent, to say the least. On reflection, I am glad they could not supply 4 with my 2 sofas as there is nobody to remedy any issues if a problem arises. I dodged a bullet. I did leave a poor review a few weeks ago and their response was totally fabricated. Hence this second review. I will never deal with this company again.

Met a lady in ScS Cardiff today looking for a two seater sofa Spent nearly an hour going through various combinations to help with my medical conditions finally was able to get what I needed hand made her name is Julie Giving her 100% for customer service 👍

Been waiting 5 months for some action on my sofa which has a design fault, the reclining seats open up but the metal hinges rub against the material and have worn through and they've only been used for about a month and not every day maybe a couple times a week and we now are too afraid to use them , which is annoying as my wife needs too have her feet elevated due to circulation problems which this sofa was intended for. We had an independent engineer come out to look at the sofa and confirmed that it's a design flaw and also the material on the sofa is terribly bity and feels rough and is starting to crease badly, he's taken photos and made a report and said they would be in contact within 10 days that was a month and a half ago, the after sales of this company is absolutely shocking will never buy from them again and would deter people from ever going near this company even my mother's order was delayed and she was lied to and she's 86 years old and her blood pressure went up with worrying about the experience and she only had a heart attack couple of months prior to the order. I'll be taking the road to sue them and for compensation as my wife's circulation brought on by not having her feet elevated and was hospitalised and was so close too having her foot amputated. Please stay away from this company they don't give a dam!!!!

I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with SCS when I ordered a sofa from them. When the delivery team arrived, the driver didn’t even attempt to bring the sofa into the house. He just took a few photos, assumed it wouldn’t fit, and left — without a single effort or even speaking to me properly. He reported back that the sofa couldn’t be delivered, even though no attempt was made.

Shortly after, I received a call from the deputy manager at the Cardiff store, who was shockingly rude, aggressive, and completely unwilling to listen. Rather than working towards a solution, she demanded I pay £250 for a re-delivery and reassembly, blaming me for the issue. I live in a standard Taylor Wimpey townhouse — nothing unusual or awkward about the property. Yet they insisted it was my responsibility to ensure the sofa fit — despite the delivery team not even trying.

The next day, the store manager called me, and he too was rude and intimidating, again insisting it was my fault and refusing to acknowledge that the delivery driver didn’t make a proper attempt. He made it clear: either I pay £250, or the order would be cancelled and I’d lose my £500 deposit.

This experience has left me feeling angry, upset, and completely let down. SCS refuses to take any accountability, blames the customer, and uses pressure tactics to extract more money. They don’t care about fairness or proper service — only about protecting themselves, even when they’re in the wrong.

Avoid SCS at all costs. The way they treat customers is absolutely shocking.
