They helped us move our old furniture over due to Clearbee letting us down at last moment (picking up monday). Meanwhile we are closed in by two sets of furniture. They were very efficient at putting it together. Weren't long at all and lovely guys.

From my initial enquiry in store they were very helpful and patient, I couldn't decide what I wanted and went back several times. They helped me plan my space against what I liked and being able to get it in the house. The delivery information was up to date from the time I was informed of the delivery date, even to calling to say they were 10 minutes away. The guys were fast and efficient, putting everything in place and taking away the rubbish. This is the 2nd sofa we had from SCS, the being 12 years ago so excellent quality which is why we went back to them.

The delivery crew kept us informed at all stages regarding timing of delivery and were quick and very efficient in placing sofa exactly where we wanted it after they had put all the parts together. Sofa was ready to use before they left the house.

ITS BUYER BEWARE AT SCS. Whilst the staff were helpful if perhaps, a ,title over zealous, that part of the process was the best. I purchased a two seater settee, two arm chairs and a footstool. The first time I sat on the sofa, the leather stretched so much that it left indents which did not disappear.and look unsightly. The same is true of the chairs and footstool. I complained to SCS and they sent a technician to inspect the furniture. He said the claim was invalid. When I asked him if the furniture would be acceptable in his home he replied that he would only purchase furniture of a certain structure! He suggested SCS provided extra padding for the furniture, as a goodwill gesture, which they refused to do. I had to chase them for their final decision, they could not even bother to contact me. I am now left with a leather suite which is not fit for purpose which I have to dispose of with a loss of almost three thousand pounds. It is disgraceful customer service. I will never go to SCS again.
I am updating this review following the reply From SCS. They state that the technician offered extra padding to be placed on the furniture and this was declined. Absolutely untrue- no such offer was made by the technician. He did say the stretching should be pushed out by hand every time the furniture was sat on as part of the furniture care instructions but nowhere could I find such an instruction. Bearing in mind this awful stretching happened after two people of lightweight were sat on the settee for the first time, for a period of one hour. The company are opting out of their customer service responsibilities to their customers with impunity. Once they have customers’ money, they absolve themselves of any responsibility. It is interesting that the ITV programme Rip Off Britain exposed a very similar case of leather stretching and the company took exactly the same line. I encourage any other customer who has experienced problems to put a review on Trustpilot to expose the callous way SCS treat customers.
