Excellent (again!)
Since 2020 I’ve had the annual boiler service carried out by Scott Findlay. As always, the service this year was efficient and thorough. The engineer, Martinus, was professional and courteous and explained the work carried out (replacing the heat exchanger gasket). The office followed up promptly via e-mail with the service certificate. Excellent all round.

A first class reliable company
I have used Scott Findlay on several occasions and have found them to be a first class reliable company. The customer service was excellent, the plumbers arrived on time and carried out the repairs in a professional manner, and the charges were competitive.

Prompt, professional and transparent service
I had an excellent experience with Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
From the initial phone call, the customer service was excellent. The advisor clearly explained the pricing structure before I booked, which I really appreciated, and I found their rates to be very competitive compared with several other companies I contacted for quotes.
Although my issue wasn't urgent, they arranged for an engineer to attend the next day.
Engineer Jack Lumsden carried out the work and was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable throughout. He took the time to explain exactly what the issue was with the cold water storage tank and talked me through the solution in a way that was easy to understand.
What particularly impressed me was his attention to detail and pride in his work. Rather than simply replacing the faulty ballcock, he also fitted an isolation valve, explaining that it would make any future maintenance much easier and minimise disruption if work was ever needed again. It wasn't something he had to do, but it demonstrated real diligence and foresight. Everything was tested before he left, and he made sure the work area was left clean and tidy.
It's refreshing to deal with a company that is transparent about pricing, competitively priced, responsive, and delivers such a high standard of workmanship.
Thank you to Jack and the whole team. I'll certainly be using Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating again and will happily recommend them to family and friends.

They contacted me to remind me my boiler was due a service. Arranged an engineer to call when it suited me and he arrived on time, carried out the work. Professional, courteous and respected my property. Excellent service once again.

Thanks very much for the annual service to our boiler. Your engineer carried it out very efficiently, and was very good at keeping us informed of what he was doing, and how long it would take. This was very much appreciated. We will certainly use the service again.
