It is my belief when you hire anyone into your home you are walking blindly that they are honest and have a true knowledge that work performed will fix the problem.

Sals heating has been working on our boiler system since 10/20/25.

From 10/20/2025 till 1/2026 Sals has charged us 6,102.00

On 2/10/2026 we were presented with two more estimates:

1) 3,627.00 for further repairs .

2) 18,180.00 total replacement of Boiler

It is my fear that they feel an additional 3,627.00 will not fix the boiler in entirety so they included an estimate of full replacement of system.

2) Replacement of boiler system in its entirety: 18,180.00

We have moved on and will not be using Sals service for any additional repairs/work

I purchased a Groupon for our annual furnace / air clean and check. Technician came out, gave us a clean bill of health - all boxes checked - furnace and air in good working condition. Furnace and Air were working perfectly fine. We woke up the next morning freezing. The blower was not working. I immediately called Sal's - this was on a Saturday - explained the situation to the dispatch - I was asked if I was calling for emergency service and I told her that I was calling to have someone come back out and fix what they did they day before to cause our blower to stop working, I thought maybe he hit something or something got disconnected that shouldn't have. I understand things happen, was not pointing fingers and I clearly stated that I was not going to pay for a service call - this was a follow up to a service performed. Technician arrived, same person as the day before - confirmed that the blower and IFC panel were no longer functioning handed me an estimate for aprox. $2500 for the repairs needed and on top of that charged me $213 for an emergency service call. I contacted Sal's Monday morning asking for the $213 to be refunded as I clearly stated that I was not going to pay a service call fee. I was not about to argue with a stranger in my home trying to collect a fee - so we paid it - this morning, Sal's contacted me to tell me they will NOT be refunding my service call charge and that things with HVAC just happen and the technician did nothing wrong. This is not good customer service. I have since hired another contractor to do the repair who found that the IFC Panel is functioning and just the blower needs replacement. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the business practices of Sal's Heating and Cooling.

They replaced my furnace in one day. The workers were knowledgeable and hard working. Would recommend them for and HVAC work.

I scheduled an appointment in SEPTEMBER for a furnace check up and was scheduled for 12/4/24 at 4pm. I hurried home to be there at 4. After waiting half an hour I called and was told they are on a job and will call a half hour before they come. I called to cancel at 6pm. The manager called me back and said they never guarantee a time?? After reading the reviews, I'm glad I canceled. I should have read them before I made an appointment. I was attracted by the $69 price they advertised.

Last year I wanted to install a new digital thermostat in my house. I bought the thermostat I wanted from Amazon. I called Sal's Heating & Cooling, Plumbing & Sewer to see if they could do this under a Groupon offer. They said they could, so I bought a Groupon For Sal's Heating & Cooling, Plumbing & Sewer for a service call plus one hour of labor. When I called back to make the appointment with Sal's, they said there would be an additional several hundred dollar charge for the thermostat. This was not revealed on the initial call. needless to say, I used a different company. But, I was still stuck with a Groupon that I could not use. So, last week a laundry drain backed up and I thought I would use the Groupon for Sal's. I called Sal's to see if they would honor the Groupon and would be able to do the job. They said yes and yes.
When the technician got to the house, he said it would be an additional $350 to clean the drain. Sal's said the Groupon was good only for a house call and 1 hour of troubleshooting. The Groupon says o1 hour of labor.
I will never use Sal's Heating & Cooling, Plumbing & Sewer company for anything. I would recommend you NEVER use Sal's Heating & Cooling, Plumbing & Sewer for any reason. They are unscrupulous at best!

Called for AC unit, already diagnosed it and told him that I need a new capacitor with make and numbers. Tech shows up and looks and says yep, does not have the correct capacitor. Wires a universal capacitor to sell me for $200, total for visit $400. No way was I buying that. Asked to have the motor ohms checked to verify motor was still good since it was unplugged, and I was stuck paying for the diagnostic check. Tech did not know how and says they don't do that. How do you diagnose/inspect if you don't know how to check everything. Lost $100 for nothing and wasted time.

Sal came into my home to give an estimate for low water pressure and conducted unauthorized work using materials that were not up to code. This unauthorized work resulted in extensive water damage to my home. When I attempted to remediate this issue with the company they would not give me their insurance information to even start a claim. Instead, they have drug the conversation out two weeks and I am still fighting to start a claim. This company has been incredibly negligent and continued to demonstrate a level of unprofessionalism that is completely unfathomable for being licensed and insured. I would never recommend someone go to Sal after this experience.

Sal's Heating and Cooling unclogged my blocked kitchen sink and installed a new garbage disposal. Tony answered my simple questions, and explained what was going to be done. Al was very informative and professional. He took his time to clean our furnace and answered all of our questions and he explained that my furnace was in great shape.

I have been calling Sal's Heating & Cooling since 2020 I was using Home Serve they sucks. Sal's clean my furnace yearly, this year I going to get my air conditioner check, also water tank flush out if I can get the early time,so I can get to work..Their worker are respectable and explain everything to you what they going to do..

We had our toilet replaced, they were on time and very professional. Later that night the toilet developed a water leak and a follow up was needed. They came the next day, checked it out and made adjustments. All was good until it started to leak again. The next day the plumber took it apart and found the toilet was made wrong. They replaced the toilet, and it has not had an issue since.
All of this work for the original price. Great service at a good price.

Sal's technicians came out, diagnosed the problem (i.e., water tank leaking); helped turn off water, ordered another one and were back within less that 2 days, replaced it, and took the old one away. They were very careful around the house. Left with NO MESS!! I have used Sal's several times to fix outdoor water fixtures and sewer problems. Highly recommend this company!!

I thought more joyful in light of the fact that all perspectives were really awesome as I visited this astonishing site. With their administrations, I am gigantically glad. I will unequivocally prescribe it to everybody.
