I bought shelves directly from the company. I have about 6 racks installed and have been happy with the results and thought the installation price was fair. That is until I bought the shelves. First the website shows that to purchase 8ft shelves it comes in two 4ft shelves and the deal comes in 2 boxes. When the lady on the phone call said that it was $50 per shelf to install I thought she made an error. Oh no, not only was it $50 per shelf but $50 per each section. On top of everything the gentleman who came out to do the installation was any thing but a gentleman ! He was rude from the get go (terrible attitude). I had texted him before he arrived that I felt the cost was prohibitive and he stated it would be $50 not per shelf but for the one shelf….and I said okay and I had 2 shelves. He did not give notice that he was on his way and when I showed him where I wanted the shelves and the distance between his response was you are sure picky - if I could share a picture I would and you would see it was not out of the ordinary. In short after my complete amazement that after telling him to begin with that I thought the installation cost was to high ; I ended up giving him $100 to install 2 four foot shelves for 15mins of work . I am all in in supporting veterans but not contractors or companies that exploit the costumer. Also I decided to return the second set of shelves and they sent a return slip that would cost me what I paid for the them to begin with- rip off. The product is good but purchase from Smaxon or Costco !!!!!!

Purchased the Saferack that holds 5 black bins with a yellow top from Costco. All over the instructions, it states to call them if there is a problem before returning it to the store. Of course, I had a big problem with the plastic pieces that hold up the shelves. So I called Saferack, and they were less than helpful. It was pathetic; their customer service was zero help. I think it could have been an easy fix, but nope, they had to make me feel like a criminal! So, guess what, I am taking it back to Costco, and I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know not to buy from Saferacks. Companies have such great opportunities to make loyal customers for life, and just like Saferack, so many drop the ball. Do better, really do better! Away Travel knows how to make friends and loyal lifelong customers, take a lesson!

Researched their garage tile product and decided to purchase and complete a 3-car garage. During purchasing, they offer a 60 day hassle free return option for a small fee, so I purchased. Found out after returning some extra product I was sold some snake oil and was charged a late and restocking fee. Would have kept tiles knowing I would be refunded so little.If you plan to buy, don't plan on retuning anything.

We purchased SafeRacks from a local retailer and I was excited to see that they offered reasonable installation services. I set up an appointment, and received a confirmation of the installation appointment (and SafeRacks also had record of this appointment when I called), but was not contacted by the installer or SafeRacks about when the installer would show up. I called the week of the appointment and confirmed that the appointment was indeed, confirmed. They said yes. Day of, we made sure we were home all day, only to have no one show up. When I called SafeRacks back, they said that they had no idea why the installer hadn't shown up and that they should have contacted me. After calling the installer, they said that they did not service my area (why offer a service in an area where there are no installers?) and I was told that I would be followed up with the next week with a suggested resolution -- which of course, never happened. So, hence the review for horrible lack of service and no help with getting their product installed.

We started out with some poor communication but Safe Racks really stepped up and corrected the situation to 100% of my satisfaction! Mistakes happen, but how the company reacts to correct really says who they are. In this case, Safe Racks showed that they value providing the highest level of customer service they could. As a 2nd time buyer of racks, if I need them again I will look to them first!

I purchased two overhead garage storage racks. I later received a postcard from the company stating "If this made it to your mailbox, an installer can make it to your garage." I went to the referenced website to schedule an installer, but the query said no installers in my area. Horrible customer service.

SafeRacks refund policy is horrible. After their installer told us they could not install in our garage we had no choice but to return the product. They will refund within 30 days but minus tax and shipping cost. Then you have to pay for the return shipping. After $144 out of our pocket to just return the product, this company does not care about our experience. Do not use.

We have had SafeRacks install overhead garage storage racks in all of our home throughout the years. They always have respectful and professional installers. The product gets the job done. Jacob was our installer on our last project and he was flawless. Thank you SafeRacks!
