Had my first taste of Challah today
(I'm not Jewish) but im keen to support British Jewish businesses in these testing times for the Jewish community. The Challah bread was delicious, the cheese super tasty. The Grape juice myself and my partner are fighting over it. Negative side ...I am now as fat as a house and looking like a loaf of Challah im addicted. I will have to invest in a wheelbarrow for my family to push me around in im going to be huge!!!!. Will order again .🥰

Great range of products. Everything delivered fast, wonderfully packaged and fresh. Impossible to get proper bagels and challah where I live so we order in bulk and freeze. Works perfectly. Also love the gefilte fish, cheese buns and pastries, and range of fabulous deli and dips. Very glad to have found this retailer and will be trying more things. Excellent customer service also. Don't hesitate to give them a try!

First ever order Not processed
My very first order given with 2 weeks notice and on day of expected delivery, a Friday, found it's not been processed! Have to wait in all day now on following Monday. Not best pleased. Have now received order after a pleasant phone call on the Sunday to explain the issue. Products are perfect, what I have been missing since moving to the North West.

Good but ....
i bought two items. 12 yahrzeit candles and a challah. Both weree goor but the challah was a bit squashed. Also I thought the delivery charge was too high

Started out frustrating but ended very happily
So very disappointed although I don’t know whether to blame them or DPD. Minus point for using DPD anyway. Can’t comment on the goods because they never arrived but were due last Tuesday (today is Saturday). In view of the fact that this is all fresh food and fish to boot, I have now tried to cancel the order. However as today is the Sabbath I won’t be able to contact them until at least tomorrow. Frustrating & disappointing experience.
Am happy to update from 1to 3 stars as I spoke to Jess and she couldn’t have been more helpful. A new delivery has been promised for Thursday. Watch this space !
Now upgrade is to 5 stars because clearly all the issues were down to DPD not Sabeny. When the goods finally arrived, they were excellent and extremely good value.

After I complained about my order and asked for refund I have received a partial refund for all the uneatable items. I tried to remove my previous bad review but it was not possible to do.

Why was this Order different from all others?
My first online Pesach Order and it was not only wrong but arrived piecemeal with the bulk of it still missing. Two small boxes which obviously did not represent the hundreds of pounds spent turned up. I souhgt a deivery between 4-6 pm but got a message from DPD whom Sabeny use to deliver saying delivery would be between 11.18 and 12.18 - the little food there was, including perishables (most of it missing) was unceremoniously dumped on my doorstep, expecting my powers of telepathy ot know it was there. The handling of my complaint was poor so I have sought a refund and the return of the goods - I now have to do my usual sprint around Kosher Kingdom (bless them) having wasted time ordering, taking the day to await delivery and now having to make time to physically go and buy everything having used a company (not registered at Companies House under their trading name) that literally cannot deliver! I won';t be using them again

During busy periods such as Pesach, when we are dispatching close to 1,000 parcels a day across the UK, including major Jewish centres such as London and Manchester as well as more remote areas across the country, deliveries may occasionally be split into more than one consignment. This is especially the case where chilled, frozen, and ambient items are handled separately to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. In these situations, parcels may arrive at slightly different times, but all parts of the order are dispatched and tracked accordingly. We appreciate that this may not have been your expectation. At Sabeny.com, we provide nationwide delivery of kosher groceries across the UK, and while the vast majority of orders arrive on time and in full, we regret that this experience did not meet the standard we aim to provide. As requested, the second delivery was stopped and a full refund was issued.

I live in Leeds where most, but not all, the Pesach products I need are available. For the last few years, I have had a small order from Sabeny. Everything, including fridge products, arrive on time and in perfect condition. They obviously take as much care of their smaller customers as they do with their larger ones. I know that I can rely on them.
