The experience was very professional. Two gentleman were very quick and the result was exceptional. They were polite and very friendly.

We had a fantastic experience with RVD The cleaner arrived on time and did a brilliant job cleaning our kitchen, living room, stairs and both bathrooms. The whole house looked spotless and felt fresher than ever. We were really impressed with the attention to detail and the quality of the cleaning.

What stood out even more was the excellent customer service. The team followed up with us by phone after the clean to make sure we were happy with the results, which was a lovely touch and showed that they genuinely care about their customers.

We couldn't be happier with the service and would highly recommend the team to anyone looking for a reliable, professional cleaning company!

Absolutely appalling service. Nothing professional about this company!

I am extremely disappointed with RVD Cleaning Ltd. They advertise themselves as a professional cleaning company, but our experience was the complete opposite. The standard of service was absolutely shocking.

We booked a deep clean of our home, including the oven, fridge and other areas, for nearly £300. We were expecting family to visit and wanted to save time for other preparations. Instead, hiring this company turned into a complete nightmare.

The problems started immediately. The gentleman who brought the cleaners left shortly afterwards, leaving us with cleaners who struggled to communicate in English. This made discussing the work extremely difficult.

The cleaning itself was absolutely disgraceful.

From what we observed, no proper cleaning detergents were used apart from one product for the oven. The floors were mopped with what appeared to be dirty greased water, and the windows were wiped with greasy cloths. Both were left looking worse than before the cleaners arrived. The windows were covered in greasy smears, and the floors had to be washed again.

The hygiene practices were equally alarming. The same cloths appeared to be used throughout the house without any obvious separation between different areas. This raised serious concerns that cloths used in the toilet could potentially have been used on kitchen surfaces or even the fridge, which itself appeared to have been wiped with nothing more than a damp cloth.

The cleaners were also walking around our home barefoot while cleaning.

Numerous areas were completely overlooked. Not even lightweight furniture was moved to clean underneath or behind it. Tiles and cupboards around the extractor hood were left untouched, other cupboards were only partially wiped, and multiple surfaces were simply ignored.

The worst incident happened the following day.

The extractor hood filters had apparently been cleaned using a metal wire scourer, leaving numerous metal fibres trapped inside.

The following day, while cooking, I switched on the extractor fan and metal fibres fell directly into our meal! We had to throw away the entire food. Absolutely unacceptable and deeply concerning.

After discovering these problems, we complained and provided photographic evidence. The company offered to return and clean again, but we refused because we had completely lost confidence in their hygiene standards, cleaning methods and professionalism.

Despite this disastrous experience, we only requested a 50% refund, acknowledging that some work had been carried out.

Their response? An insulting offer of just £30 out of what we paid.

We subsequently sent a detailed formal complaint by email. The company has completely stopped responding to our messages and has not even bothered to acknowledge our formal complaint email.

Their handling of the situation has been just as disappointing as the cleaning itself.

We are now taking steps to pursue a claim through the Small Claims Court to recover our money.

The most frustrating part is that we hired this company to save time. Instead, we spent even longer cleaning up after their cleaners, washing the floors and windows again and dealing with numerous areas they had missed.

We paid for a professional deep clean and ended up having to clean the house ourselves afterwards.

In my opinion, the service did not even meet the standard of an acceptable basic clean, let alone a professional deep clean.

Terrible cleaning standards, serious hygiene concerns, appalling customer service and a complete lack of professionalism.

I would never use RVD Cleaning Ltd again and strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this company with their home.
