Rose carried out some bespoke art work for me. Rose is very approachable and happy to work with me on what my thoughts were on the commission. One piece was an agreed design, the second i left up to Rose. Both were amazing and exactly what i wanted. Picked them up yesterday and already in pride of place at home. Now i have to think what else i can ask Rose to do. Absolute star. xx

Amazing portrait of our dog, Rose captured her character perfectly, lots of good communication making the process really enjoyable, she was great with Sky (our dog) and super friendly. Really happy with our artwork which will take pride of place on our wall!

A wonderful experience, from start to finish...
My husband gave me a ‘Rose HIll’ Henry cat birthday card a few years ago and I’ve been admiring Rose’s work since, following her FB posts. From there I could see her talents shine and her warmth to her clients and their pets too!
I felt comfortable about sharing the story of our adopted cat. Rose has picked up on every detail - even the little ones I’d just dropped into conversation. Our portrait is exactly how I’d wished - and more. Rose has captured our cat’s expression perfectly and almost the texture and feel of her fur. I’m thrilled and would recommend working with Rose to any cat lover.

Rose's workshops are really good if you're a beginner at drawing as she takes you to step by step. I believe they would still be really good if you were not a beginner as you learn patterns, shapes etc. I strongly recommend her workshop if you're keen to try something new. It's super relaxing and the time goes really quick.

Rose Hill Designs stand for a monthly drawing session (in my case) and the mood during those sessions were always fun. Rose believes everyone can draw and she is right. I made some nice drawings with different pattern to spice things up. It was really good to do and Rose is a lovely lady who cheers you on to go on and leave the perfectionism at the door. She is very attentive to send you an email when the lesson is almost due so you won't forget it. I have to finish some work but when it is done I will be right back at Rose's drawing sessions.

I cannot recommend both Rose and her work enough. She is such a kind, considerate and wonderful person as well as a very talented artist who cares so very much about people and community.
She created a beautiful piece of our much loved pup for my husband’s birthday and we love it. The process throughout was clear and collaborative and she even delivered the finished artwork to us personally (thankfully not too far from our house, but far enough!) to make sure I had it in time. She captured Barney’s character perfectly in the finished work and we love the colours and framing.
Rose is a true pleasure to now know as a friend and artist!

Rose spoke to our F.E Art and Design students across zoom about her industry experience and creative journey. The students loved her presentation, found it informative, engaging and visually exciting. Rose is a natural public speaker and had students/tutors hooked on every word. I am so pleased to have met Rose and look forward to working with her in the future. We will definitely be inviting her back and staying in touch ❤️ Thank you Rose, you are a true inspiration!

Rose is not only kind, but caring and understanding. She will work with you and allow you to figure out a way to get your artwork. She explains to you the whole process. She makes sure to put herself in your shoes. She indulges herself and goes beyond and gets to know your pet and you so that she can paint your pet as if her own. Which makes the painting more meaningful.
She steps outside her box and into yours to be one with the model.
And if though the process of the painting is on going or complete she will still go out of her way to message you and see how you are doing.
She doesn’t treat you as a customer but a friend.

We absolutely adore the portraits Rose created of our doggies! She was flexible and understanding of my many tweaks and did such a gorgeous job. I actually audibly squealed when we received our final proofs! Cannot wait to see them framed and on our wall!

I thoroughly enjoyed my session with Rose. Not knowing what to expect as I haven’t done any drawing for a long time I was completely absorbed in the activities and time flew by. Rose was enthusiastic, knowledge about her subject, well planned and ensured that everyone participated. A most enjoyable workshop. Thank you.

We lost our beloved cat last year. Still missing her, we adopted a new one earlier this year. So we wanted a picture to commemorate the deceased and welcome the new family. Our hope was a picture in which both of them are sitting together as if they were sisters. Rose kindly made it come true with her artwork. We are very satisfied with her skill.

Rose is great! We'd asked her to produce an artwork of Poppy in her signature style and the end result did not disappoint. The process from start to finish was as simple and seamless as it could be given the covid-19 crisis. Rose provided updates and asked for feedback during the creative process on a regular basis, and the final artwork is better than we could have imagined.

It now has pride of place above our fireplace where everyone who visits the house can see it.

I'm always looking for drawing workshops to bring me out of my comfort zone and generate ideas. The Online Drawing Workshop by Rose fit the bill perfectly. The exercises were fun, challenging and very rewarding. I learnt about my drawing style, found out where my strengths were and generated ideas for my next project.

Rose's facilitation style I found refreshing. Rose ensured she spoke to every attendee, multiple times, giving each individual the feeling they were being individually taught, while being amongst a group. Her approach encouraged discussion and it was a really friendly evening vibe.

Would definitely recommend and I'll be keeping my eye out for future workshops to attend!

It has been such a pleasure working with Rose the past few weeks. She has been so patient with my difficult schedule and had made the whole experience wonderful. Her unbelievable talent has given us my most treasured art piece.
