One star is too much. Rockmans took my money in February sent two badly made items.
I should have 3 more items which they said they were unable to send so I’m due $100 outstanding refund. They are thieves. They continue to acknowledge I’m in a queue.no clothing or refund and it’s June. DO NOT buy from Rockmans and lose your hard earned cash to con men.
Good riddance Rockmans
They have closed most of their stores so you are forced to purchase online. If something doesn’t fit bad luck, apparently anything clearance is actually final sale, other companies make this very clear Rockmans does NOT so beware. They say on their returns policy that you can go into a store and exchange or get a gift card or return to the warehouse which is yet another postage cost. I travelled a significant distance to an unfamiliar area to get to a Rockmans store, spent some time choosing some exchange items only to be told when I got to the counter that my return items cannot be returned, exchanged, or even refunded online, nothing, I’m stuck with the non fitting items. I don’t really have the funds to be able to lose this money but I will donate these clothes to charity and NEVER shop with Mosaic group again, lesson learnt. Myer and now even David Jones and most other large retailers make it very clear that clearance items are not returnable or have final sale in red somewhere or even at checkout to make sure you are aware, I feel Rockmans needs to make it absolutely clear on their website as I definitely would not have made the purchase otherwise.

This site is very similar to a scam site taking payments with no actual people running the show. Customer service is automated. If you don't receive your item or even have a question don't bother because you won't receive an actual reply.
They also sell items from third party sellers with no verification involved so anyone can sell whatever. This site should be report to the Australian ACCC.

No Customer Service!!!
I purchased a beautiful top from Rockmans in Rockhampton Shopping Fair. I have worn the top 3 times and washed it on a delicate wash (even through the item is not delicate) with other similar clothes. The top was hung on a hanger to dry in shade. The top is obviously faulty as with only 3 delicate washes, the right hand sleeve has two tears in it - one 3-4cm and the other 5-6cm. The entire sleeve has not been stitched correctly and Rockmans has opted to do NOTHING. They will no longer receive any of my business and I would suggest others be cautious if you purchase clothing from these stores now that it is often Made in China.
In addition to this, the phone numbers for the store (and I tried all three numbers available on the internet) were no longer in service. There was one number that enabled me to leave a message and nobody bothered to call back. That message was left 9 days ago!!!
Coming from an ex-employee
Coming from an ex-employee, the company treats their staff terribly. Very little support, and judgment when asking for help. These were all by people within leadership roles, people who are paid to help. We are told no refunds which is illegal, leaving us to cop it from customers. if you're a customer and see one of their employees struggling, please understand its because they give us double the workload and not enough staff to help carry it out.
Online purchasing unsatisfactory and expensive
I purchased some items online. I did read the returns policy which advised I could return in store. The items did not fitwell. When I decided to return instore I discovered that almost all the retail stores in Melbourne are closed permanently and I was not going to drive 50km to one that wasn't. I then went back to investigate returning via online. I was really annoyed to then find that the customer must pay the return postage and the initial postage is not refunded. Although the clothes are cheap(price and quality ) I object to paying postage and then having to pay again to return when many other businesses have free returns. I will not be purchasing from them again as too high a risk of not being happy with the purchase and wasting money, and especially now no option to return in person.

Dodgy marketing tactics
Watch out for the special offer for subscribers. They offer $20 off if you subscribe and then there is no way to activate the offer, very disappointed. Lodged a complaint with PayPal but no success. What a sneaky way to get more clients.
Scam
They sent me a faulty item and I have emailed countless times but they won't reply to emails
Bought 5 tops
Bought 5 tops. I was away for a while which is why this review is late. I washed them and ironed them, tried each one on and there was one thing wrong with all of them - they were all TOO SHORT!! Really annoying, like they were trying to save on fabric or something. Also one of them had long sleeves I tugged on the sleeve to bring it up to 3/4 length and the fabric ripped away from the cuff. Always remember, buy cheap, get cheap although at was $89 for 5 tops wasn't THAT cheap. They were on sale, however I will never buy any more clothing from Rockmans. I'll give them away to Good Will, Vinnies or someone. Lesson learned.
Mareeba store rude manager nager
I went shopping in Mareeba store I have been before and had a nice sales assistant this one was a fat small darkhaired older woman who was loud and very arrogant 1st a woman was trying pants on said they were too big fat sales woman says no there not meant to be that way they were falling off her waist then I went to purchase a top ticket says $16.00 she says that will be $25 I pointed to the ticket price she looked up my membership then said $20 then says alright do you want it Its $16.99 meanwhile she has rung her friends to come in to take free tops on a rack says they were in the flood

I am cancelling membership and I will not be going back into this shop while she is there and I will tell my friends as well

Not worth
I ordered dress from here and was shocked with it. The product was cheap cotton all creased and just stuffed in the bag, it had a bad odour. Was not happy at all so decided to return but oh boy that is also a headache. They have options of return in the store but how many stores do they have? That is the question, in addition you also have to pay extra to return the package. They charged me extra $12 for delivery in Brisbane city and on top on that i again pay to deliver the dress. So basically I end up paying more than the product price. Eventually I decided not to send them and dump it so save myself that extra cost. Please don’t buy from them atleast online , it’s not worth your time. Very disappointing brand.

Bad customer service
I tried on jeans at Rockmans runaway bay store. I didn’t intend to buy 2 pair but shop assistant told me second pair $10 so I said great. Bargain. Only to find when she put through purchase it was $10 off the full price of second pair. I didn’t want to make a fuss so took the 2. As I walked around shops I thought - no I don’t need 2 pairs and took them back for refund. Only to be told no refund. Head office told me same. Will never buy from their shops again. Beware !!

I wish to give Gina, at Rockman's - Roselands, a solid five stars. I would give more if it was possible. Gina is the most delightful, helpful and polite salesperson I have ever encountered. The clothing is of superior quality, prices are great and the customer service is 100%. I am more than happy with my purchase and the experience of shopping in this wonderful store. I will definitely be returning.
I ordered 5 items from Rockmans on 10…
I ordered 5 items from Rockmans on 10 th April. After waiting for 21 days I called the customer service number. I explained the reason for the call and provided my details. I was then advised that the item was returned as the delivery failed on 16 th April. I informed the person that I was home on that day and had added to my order that the item could be left. She was not able to provide further details. I then enquired why if the package was returned why I was not advised as a courtesy of this. She had not explanation. This is poor customer service. She then agreed to refund the purchase amount into my account within 5 days. There is no way that delivery was attempted. Will not be shopping there in future
The Non-existent Art of Customer Service
Quite remarkable how this company can allow you to buy clothes that are not in stock, hang onto your money for yonks, send you emails that require a reply but then, when you do, bounce back, issue apology vouchers that have already expired (!) and hire staff that are skilled in the Art of monosyllabic and flat-out rude comments. There’s no customer service to be found here. Take your chances if you choose to buy from this lot. P.S. A special shout-out to a very special staff member, who informed me that a month = 10 days. Just embarrassing. *slow handclap*
