Defect table received, 1.5 years later, no resolution
I received my Cigale dining table in September 2024 missing a structural piece, despite a year of follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved.
Timeline:
Early 2024: Table ordered
September 2024: Table arrived missing support part; advised a replacement part would be ordered
December 2024: Replacement part arrived — it was the wrong part
Spring 2025: I followed up — was told someone would “look into it.” No response.
July 2025: Followed up again — no update
August 2025: Installation team came to measure the part (raises the question: how does a manufacturer not have its own design specifications?) — no follow-up since
It is now November 2025, and my table is still unstable and unusable. There has been no tangible action or accountability. For a $16,000+ purchase, this level of neglect is unacceptable and unprofessional.
