Lee was really nice and approachable and helped me right from the start. It was my Dad who told me about BYDs and will be getting his in August, but I was looking to switch to electrics to save money on a monthly basis without the cost of petrol. We went on a whim after being messed about at other garages and had seen the deal on the Dolphin's that was very much a comfortable price which we felt was too good to be true - but Lee confirmed this is all correct and after falling in love with the car, it was a no-brainer! The entry level is unreal, the things it comes with would make you think otherwise. The test drive with Beth was great and I loved it even more, it is so smooth and nippy when it needs to be and so many clever safety features as standard. The 360 degree camera is definitely my favourite and I have the most fun with this! Thank you so much again - highly recommend to anyone :)

I recently purchased a used Volvo selekt XC90 that cost nearly £23K from Riverside Volvo, Leeds. I reside 2hrs away and chose this dealership as they boasted ‘excellent customer service’ on their website.

After test driving the car I pointed out to the salesman that it pulled to the left and that it needed the steering & wheel alignment checks doing which he acknowledged. He gave me a date of a week to have the car inspected to the Volvo rigorous Selekt standard and picked up by myself. My partner and I were very excited and booked annual leave off from our employers in order to collect the car. A few days prior to collection (after I enquired as to the progress) I was advised that the car may not be ready for the agreed date. After making strong representations I was then advised that they would do their best to get it completed.

After collecting the car and assured all the work had been done, I drove on the motorway on the long journey home and noted that it still pulled to the left and the steering wheel shook when driving at motorway speeds.
I immediately took the car to Kwikfit the next day to be told that the wheel alignment was out and the wheel balancing needed doing as it was way out !! I was also told that the rear tyre had a deep cut that went through to the core of the tyre and needed replacing ! I paid for the four wheel balancing (£120) and telephoned the salesman from Riverside who I purchased the car from (from the Kwikfit garage) and advised him of these defects. I was told to forward the invoice for the wheel alignment and obtain a quotation for the new replacement tyre but not to purchase it as yet until authorisation was given by his bosses for me to be reimbursed.
Well here we are some ten days later, I’m still out of pocket for the wheel alignment/balancing bill that hasn’t been reimbursed still and have a defective tyre on my expensive car and I have now been requested to purchase a new tyre and send in the invoice in order that I can get reimbursed as they won’t do this from the quotation (that they asked me to obtain).
Still no apology for supplying me with a car (to date) with defects that should have been detected nor my inconvenience and wasted time going to and from garages and playing email tennis and the associated fuel costs.

To say this was a stressful experience is an understatement and I will be most certainly
writing to Volvo UK with my non ‘excellent customer service’ experience.

My experience at Riverside BYD Wakefield was cracking because I brought a juke 70 plate it was out of this world inside and out everything what I was looking for The sale man was cracking fella and had everything sorted after our journey of 2.30 hours

I'd definitely recommend Riverside Honda Wakefield to friends and family because the service was of a very high standard. Steph is a very attentive assistant. She was able to answer every question. The test drive was conducted under her supervision, which made it smoother, more accurate, and easier. The purchase process was also absolutely smooth and perfectly prepared in advance. We didn’t experience any delays and were able to complete everything efficiently. Thank you!

I was treated with great respect by all the staff that I encountered , But I take my hat off to Adam, he sold me a beautiful low mileage Land Rover Evoque, we had a slight problem with the electric struts for the tailgate that were faulty, The very same day new ones were ordered and I went on my way, the day that the new struts arrived the car was back in the workshop and fitted while I waited, thanks to Adam, the whole process of buying the car and having it fixed was all very smooth and professional, An exellent sailsman with an eye for detail,
