We always choose Richer Sounds as we always get excellent service and advice and this latest visit was no different.
We had an old piece of kit ( a recording freesat blu-ray player) which had failed and required a replacement. Alan checked out various options for us but none fitted the bill. He researched possible solutions and discussed them with us but again for one reason or another they weren’t suitable. There was no replacement for our unit currently on the market but he persisted and found a suitable option that was due to be launched in May.

Incorrect colour hifi rack ordered. Quivk call and the store phoned the warehouse and got changed for correct colour and next day delivery

I found your opening times not customer friendly eg midday opening . Also a HD lead for £32 ! It may be good but the same thing was available in other shops for £10 over 200% cheaper .

Got a phone call from the manager apologising because i hadnt got the discount off after spending over £300 pound, he explained there was a new lad learning the ropes & thats why i didnt get it, Andy made it right by giving me the discount which i aporeciated, i have never had a problem with the shop before & wouldnt hesitate to go back again. I have always bought my TVs from Richer Sounds. Their people are knowledgeable and helpful. When my 5 year old Samsung developed a fault, their 6 year warranty came into play and I was offered a credit towards a new TV in lieu of a repair. I was able to get a suitable replacement for not very much money - and another 6 year warranty. Person Inspoke with was helpful in answering all my questions and making the transaction easy. Honestly, just buy from these people. The price will be right and the service (and warranty) will be there when you need it.

Yet again, Andy and his team provided a great advise and support to pick my next TV from them.
I had some technical issues. I called the Prestwich branch and the Andy team were quick and efficient to solve my issue. I think this is the seventh TV and many other products I've bought from them, and this kind of service that keeps me returning. Great job guys

Very helpful and knowledgeable people. The products are very well priced and competitive. If a fault occurred with a product , I am confident that it would be resolved quickly .

Overall a good experience. We knew roughly what we needed and the advice received was appropriate, excepting that we believe that the adviser should have asked us about a turntable pre-amplifier as we asked about connecting one. Turned out we definitely needed one.

I recently had an issue with an LG OLED77G4 bought from Richer Sounds, which was producing intrusive popping/thermal expansion noises during use.

LG themselves were, in my experience, completely unhelpful. Their position was essentially that the noise was "within spec" and "expected" from the TV, which was very disappointing on a premium set and left me feeling like I was getting nowhere.

I was very happy with Richer Sounds working with in challenging the manufacturer’s position. Once my case was properly reviewed, Richer Sounds listened, treated my concerns seriously, and ultimately took my side.

Ashley, who worked with me on this, was outstanding throughout: polite, responsive, helpful, and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. He also went the extra mile to liaise with the store team and help me choose between two similar replacement models.

The final outcome was a part-refund and exchange to an LG OLED77C5, which I’m very happy with. The new TV is excellent, in great condition, and importantly does not suffer from the issue I experienced before.

This was one of the best retail/customer service experiences I’ve had in recent years. Richer Sounds have absolutely won my custom for life and will now be my first port of call for TV and HiFi purchases.
