So I’ve recently had gastric sleeve surgery in Turkey with Renovated ME what can I say absolutely fantastic service from the taxi drivers to the hospital staff simply first class from start to finish 🌟 ⭐️ 💫 ⭐️ 🌟

I had a gastric sleeve with RenovatedMe on the 20th September 2024.

Ildem is consistently demonstrating exceptional care and attention by regularly checking in to inquire about my well-being and progress.

During a video conference with the bariatric surgeon from the hospital in Türkiye, I gained a renewed sense of confidence and subsequently scheduled my surgery.

The OFM hospital in Turkey was exceptionally clean. Hakan, the coordinator, consistently provided invaluable assistance by translating and ensuring a thorough understanding of all documents and inquiries. His dedication and professionalism are a true asset to the organization.

I had a gastric sleeve with RenovatedMe on the 16th September 2024.

Ildem is a credit to herself. She has been so friendly and nurturing in the run up to the procedure and even afterwards since I have returned.

I had some reservations before I booked the surgery however Ildem said it was possible to have a video call with herself and one of the bariatric surgeons from the hospital in Türkiye. Surgeon answered all of my questions and ultimately, my mind was eased.

Ildem contacts me very frequently checking in and making sure I am getting on okay. Any queries, go to her, Ildem is like the oracle !

OFM hospital in Türkiye are amazing! the nurses are always on their A game. Despite there being a language barrier as the nurses don't speak much English, Hakan the coordinator is always there to translate and make sure you understand what is being communicated to you. ( Although, the surgeon can speak very good English) He is there for you from the minute you get booked into the hospital up until you are discharged.

This company cannot do enough for you. RenovatedMe have been brilliant from the day I contacted up until now. I am thankful to everyone involved with the beginning of my new life.

Hakan met us at the airport for transfer to the hotel and was with us until we were settled in the hospital and tests had been done.
He came back the next day to greet us and to take me for more tests. He was also there when I woke up from surgery to translate and reassure me. This has helped massively throughout my journey.
With the language barrier, it's nice to have someone who can explain everything to you. From tests, to Dietitian discussions and everything in-between.
Illdem also messaged every day to check in and see how I was doing.

I could not recommend these two people enough. They are both fantastic people with hearts of gold.

From the moment of initial contact with my coordinator my experience has been faultless. I had my surgery 24th August 2024. All I had to to was make the contact and pay my deposit, from that point onward everything was done and organised for me.
I got on my flight with my husband who was my companion included in my package, we were met at the airport by the translator who was wonderful and the VIP transfer, taken to the Anatolia hospital and immediately given tests as part of my pre op.
On the morning of the 24th I was met again by my translator who talked through everything with me, chatted away in-between tests being done which really kept my mind busy. The amount of tests carried out on my body pre op were unbelievable, you just don't get that type of care in the UK! Prior to the gastric sleeve being done I was sedated for an endoscopy, I had been diagnosed in the UK with a hiatus hernia, my endoscopy in Turkey revealed a mis-diognosis and no hiatus hernia was found (I had booked an extra procedure costing £600 to repair the hernia! Saved me so much money)
I woke from the op and was told everything had gone well, I spent the rest of the day in and out of sleep before getting up to walk about to ease the pain from the gas.
The care I recieved post surgery was amazing and again faultless, the surgeon came in both of the following two days to check in on the wounds/stitches. I honestly cannot fault anything.
After 3 nights in hospital all together I was discharged with everything I would need, picked up by private transfer and taken with my translator to my hotel for 2 days of rest. We stayed at the club falcon all inclusive so that my husband could eat and drink as much as he wanted without further cost, on our first day we ventured to the shopping mall for some more comfortable clothing.
On the day of departure again we were collected by our private transfer, he told us exactly where to go, what check in gate we were at from there we had an extremely smooth journey home.
Since returning my coordinator has checked in every couple of days to make sure all is okay and when I've had queries she's gone straight to my surgeon to seek correct advice.

I see many people have regrets post surgery, but I can honestly say not a single moment of regret has passed my mind. I made sure I researched every step post surgery, the good the bad and the ugly, I researched emotions, I read all the information provided to me by renovatedme and I honestly could not have felt any more prepared. I haven't seen this as a quick fix and if anyone thinks it is or that life will look the same after then I wouldn't recommend a gastric sleeve. Research hard and if it is for you then I would 100% recommend renovatedme without a shadow of doubt.
If in the future I require further surgery I'll be straight back to this team!

Also worth noting that everytime I've needed procedures under a general anaesthetic in the UK I've had real trouble in coming around, I've been quite poorly after with major asthma attacks, my surgeon worked miracles, for the first time ever I had no complications.

An amazing experience start to finish. I never felt pressured to make the leap and book like I did with every other company I looked into. All of my questions were answered and answered quick. I was able to bring a companion and we had VIP transfer service from airport to hospital, hospital to hotel and back to airport with Hakan there to translate and guide the whole time! He was a life saver. The surgeon and hospital staff were incredible, I never felt judged and was treated with respect. 100% recommend.

After much research I opted for gastric surgery with RenovatedMe. From the first contact with Ildem to date I have received excellent care and support. RenovatedMe was recommended to us by several former clients. From the word go the service we received from the coordinator Ildem was exceptional. From the moment we arrived in Antalya Ildem was there. The hospital were very thorough in conducting tests and my husband had a full mot. Sadly because he had an aneurysm that had unexpectedly grown in size the cardiologist would not allow the surgery to proceed. This proves that they put my husbands health before money. Ildem have me a refund. So we had to leave the hospital and Ildem arranged for us to be transferred to a five star hotel for the rest of the week. She even arranged for us to be transferred from the hotel back to the airport. Everyone was so kind and we were genuinely treat like vips. You are safe in her hands.

Excellent communication and top-tier facilities.

The coordinator Ildem is always quick to reply to questions. The hospital in Antalya was the best I've ever stayed in, and the personal interpreter was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Even when he wasn't around, however, the staff went above and behind to be helpful and overcome the language barriers.

I would absolutely recommend this company for your elective surgery needs.

The operation I had with renovated me went very smoothly I am so happy with the results and didn't regret my choice for a moment. Ildem my coordinator has been fantastic throughout the build up to during and after with an active chat to give a virtual community support with other patience as well as an on going private chat between the two of us where she regularly checks in and reminds me of my next steps. I had my surgery in July 2023 and haven't regretted it a day since then. Renovated Me were nothing but outstanding from day.) One. From answering all my 'silly questions' to providing one to one support. All staff at the hospital were lovely as were the private transfer drivers.

Amazing process from start to finish, the few weeks leading up to travelling for surgery were really scary, as there are so many horror stories around about going abroad for surgery. With renovatedme I can confidently say they really did put all my worries at ease. The whole team were incredible from booking flights all the way to transfers from Antalya airport and between the hospital and hotel, there timing is on point, and they never leave you guessing what to do next. Ildem was amazing, she found all the necessary flights and booked for me to stay at the falcon hotel in Antalya. Just amazing, she was always there to reply to any messages, queries or concerns. As for the actual stay in turkey, the hotel was very clean, staff were super friendly and always happy to help. I would recommend having a translating app, as it makes life a whole lot easier for yourself and all the staff there. Aybuke visited me everyday in hospital and she was very calming and friendly. I also got all my medical information after staying in hospital to present to my doctor back in the UK, all necessary medication and aftercare was provided too. They really do go above and beyond to make sure your ok and comfortable. If anyone is looking to have surgery abroad, I 100% recommend renovatedme!
