We rented a 1 bedroom unit for 5 days…
We rented a 1 bedroom unit for 5 days which included a full kitchen, living room, laundry etc. We needed those amenities because my son is playing baseball so we wanted to be able to cook and do laundry. We received a call after purchase stating that the unit we booked was actually a studio- basically a hotel room. This listing was protected and verified. I explained that this is not what was listed nor what we purchased. Redweek stated nothing they could do about it and when I requested a price adjustment they said that’s what these units are going for. That was not the point- the point was false advertising and someone clearly dropped the ball with the listing. After waiting almost a week to inform me I had no choice but to take the rental. This is unacceptable and there should have been a price adjustment at minimal. Redweek eventually offered to refund my booking fee which was minimal. Very disappointed in how this was handled. Verified means the listing was reviewed. Clearly not in this case

Although incorrect information was provided when the posting was purchased, the discrepancy between the provided details and reservation confirmation should have been caught during our verification process before the listing was made available to renters. We understand that our verification label gave you confidence in the accuracy of the listing, and in this case, we fell short of the standard you should be able to expect from us. We're sorry we didn't catch this sooner and that you were left with so little time to consider your options.
We did offer to refund the RedWeek service fee, and we're glad we could provide that, but we recognize it doesn't make up for the frustration or the disruption to your plans. We sincerely apologize for letting you down, especially when you were relying on us to help ensure the rental matched what was advertised.

Waiting 2 weeks for refund
I canceled the rental on 9/26/26. Owner approved the cancelation with a refund. 9/27 I asked if refund will come through RedWeek. 9/28 Red Week confirmed refund with the owner. 9/30 Haven't heard anything so I emailed again. 9/30 Owner confirmed refund will come through Red Week. Today is 10/8/26 and I still haven't heard from the owner or Red Week. It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten a refund.

Easy System to rent your booked timeshare
I've listed my timeshare weeks with Redweek multiple times and have had nothing but great experience. Have typically rented for at least what my annual maintenance fee is and sometime even more. Easy system and always pay on time.
