I found the office chair I wanted on Google search, transferred the money & received it within one week.

David was really helpful, helped us find something within our charity budget and great at communication. We had the chairs delivered and our old ones collected for a very good price.

I ordered a second hand side filing cabinet from RBF. Not all went perfectly but the response to my problem was excellent and I ended up a satisfied customer.

I'd made an initial enquiry, and on the phone learnt that the item was too heavy for me to drive over to pick up and install myself. I was told when they'd next be in my area so I placed an order the day before that.

Ground floor delivery was well handled, but after the van left I realised that the cabinet was without the front hanging bars. I phoned up and received a very can-do response of 'Oh I told them to make sure they picked one with the bars, leave it with me I'll get it sorted'. Within an hour, the van (or another van I'm not sure) was back and a couple of bars were cheerfully installed so the problem was 100% sorted, and rapidly.

The filing cabinet itself is fairly heavy duty and spotlessly clean. It's definitely made of thicker metal than the Bisley Contract furniture at work and should last really well. Condition is used but functioning like new. There's some evidence of slightly harsh removal of office labels from the front but I'm a very happy customer. I received a key, which wasn't guaranteed to be present, and is slightly bent like many in my own workplace :-)

I would definitely use RBF again, probably for a high- end office chair when I spot what I'm after.

Bought a used Herman Miller Abak desk. Easy process, helpful staff and quick delivery, all for a very reasonable price. Very happy with the desk. Highly recommended.

After 4 weeks working from home sitting on an old wooden chair my back and shoulders were in a terrible state.

I found Recycled Business Furniture and David could not have been more helpful.

I was able to get a great office chair for less than £80 when most I had been looking at were more than £150.

I was able to collect my chair in person at the time I wanted and their warehouse manager observed perfect social distancing to let me collect my item.

After just one day using my new home office chair it has already made a huge difference. I've already recommended RBF to my other colleagues working from home.

I bought an Aeron chair type C from them: the posting mentioned forward tilt as being one of the features. Once the chair arrived, I realised that the feature was actually missing (the handle that would control it isn't present).

Not a huge deal, but I contacted them to ask them whether something could be done about that: I was thinking maybe there is an additional mechanism that can be provisioned separately, or maybe they could send me a discount or a voucher for a future order.

My email went unanswered, so I sent a second one asking if they could look at it. The sales representative who took my order answered back saying he would look into the matter as soon as he got to the office and never did. Maybe he never went to the office because of the lockdown?

In any case, the truth here is that I received a product that didn't match entirely the specs and post-sales customer care was non existent.

I was also miffed that after I paid their not negligible shipping prices (48 pounds + vat IIRC) their delivery guy refused to bring the (large, heavy, bulky) package to my door on the third floor (we have a lift) because of Covid (it was the only time in the past 2 months someone refused, and I must have had 20 deliveries) and required me to go downstairs and drag it back up by myself.

Overall, not great as an experience.
