Years ago I bought a beautiful pair of earrings from Rebel Nell using material from the Belle Isle Aquarium where my parents met. One of them was lost and I called asking if there was any way to replace it. The lovely women at Rebel Nell treated my loss with care and sensitivity, dug into their stock, and allowed me to purchase a specially-made replacement pair using a material they no longer offer. I live locally and planned to pick them up, but they surprised me and shipped them. The care they took and their interest amazed me. Their company was responsive and caring. Their products are well-made and unique. I was a fan of their mission and the earrings before this experience, but I will continue to shop at and recommend Rebel Nell. Their jewelry is a perfect present for anyone who appreciates an uncommon gift and wants to support a small business that trains and employs local artists.

The site is very easy to use and I found exactly what I wanted. The ONLY improvement would be to allow the buyer to add a message when the item is a gift. I was sending a dear friend a pair of earrings and was unable to let her know 'why.' That's the ONLY thing that would make it better. Love your offerings and buy often.

I was actually more interested in speaking to someone live about visiting the store as part of a birthday celebration for my daughter’s 13th birthday with a couple of her friends.
Once I reached Kiyara at the downtown Detroit store, she was incredibly helpful and very excited to have us visit the store.

When we arrived she took the time to tell the girls the Rebel Nell story (it’s creation and mission). She shared with us the background of each collection. She told us about other opportunities for the girls to come to Rebel Nell and create their own pieces.

It was an absolute wonderful experience and so great for these young girls to hear the powerful message of women helping to uplift women.

Each of us left with a piece of jewelry that was uniquely created, an understanding of the impact the creator is having in the community and ideas of future activities we could plan at Rebel Nell.
