If you want to rely on reviews, I plead with you to not use this "company". Golden rule is to ALWAYS get a face to face quote before you move, to avoid scammers, which these guys are. The fact my parents had dementia, obviously made them easier prey. Disgusting "humans".

I am somewhat scared to write this review after being called a "f****** mug" and my fiance being shouted at with Lee calling her "simple". But we have been threatened and abused by this company so if this review stops anyone using them then it is worth it.

In October, Lee who we now know runs the entire of range relocations was supposed to help us move out of our flat in to our first home. It is now 2 Months later and we have finally just got a refund from the bank while we were in the process of trying to take Lee to small claims court. It's important context for this that the flat block we lived in had a special loading bay specifically for removals and deliveries.

2 weeks prior to Lee turning up he requested full payment for the removal and said this was the only way to secure the booking. We panicked and stupidly paid as we were worried we wouldn't be able to find another removal company so last minute. Range relocations (Lee) only take bank transfer and it is my understanding that this is because it makes it almost impossible to get a refund when he inevitably tries to force you to pay more on the day for the removal. All of our things were in boxes or the special Ikea clothes moving bags apart from our mattress, sofa and bedside table but Lee said because not everything was boxed up that this was going to cost extra. He also refused to park in the designated loading space which is right by the door, even after the management got him a specific permit.

At this point Lee also indicated that the van he had brought with him would not be big enough (which didn’t make any sense as he was just saying his van was too big to park), even though we were at this point bringing less items than we had agreed on to begin with as we sold some of our things that we no longer wanted. Lee stated that because of this we would have to pay for not only a larger vehicle but also for more people to come the following day. At this point the extra amount of money Lee was demanding from us was adding up to over £3,000 on top of the original £2,000 for the removal.

Lee eventually (after swearing at myself and the management staff multiple times) drove off and claimed I had cancelled. When I called him back he proceeded to call me a "f****** mug" and then asked my girlfriend if she was "simple" when she said she was calling the police - he knew where we lived and was now using this as a threat.

We filed a police report, contacted citizens advice and the bank and began trying to get our money back. Thankfully our bank resolved the matter after these 2 months as I really didn't want to see Lee in court but that was the path we were on as he was refusing any sort of refund.

It's pretty safe to say this ruined mine and my fiance's experience of buying our first house together and we spent weeks worrying that he was going to show up at our door (we contacted the local police here to let them know about the situation so they were informed in case anything happened).

Please please please do not use this company, I do not know how they have any good reviews, I can only assume they aren't real but even if they are there are lots of other bad reviews almost exactly the same as the one I am leaving now. Don't take the chance, it is honestly not worth the risk

After getting our completion date we were up against time and short of removal offers. Lee and his team got us moved on the day and gave us a day to settle before returning g with the rest of our furniture. Very quick and efficient in loading and unloading the vans. Thanks again for your help in getting the job done.

Contacted several companies this one was the only company that put everything down on the first email the quote was laid out and even a paragraph on self packing .everything went perfectly and would only call range if we needed to move again

I previously left a review describing how Range Relocations responded to a reasonable query about unclear charges with rude and unprofessional communication — including telling me to "go to court KAREN." I took their advice, and in November the County Court ruled in my favour. I have since received a full refund of my deposit and related expenses via a court-ordered payment which was forced to freeze money in Range Relocation's account and transfer it to me.

My experience highlights serious issues with how Range Relocations communicates with customers and handles disputes. Their terms and conditions were inconsistent with what they asked me to agree to by email, especially regarding VAT and other charges. When I asked for clarity and a refund (having only paid the deposit the day before), I was met with hostility instead of constructive dialogue.

Because of their behaviour, I had to rearrange my move at short notice and take legal action — all of which could have been avoided had they communicated clearly and treated me with basic professionalism.

If you’re considering using Range Relocations, I strongly urge you to proceed with extreme caution. Compare all written communication carefully against their terms. And if anything is unclear or you raise concerns, be prepared for a combative response.

This company cost me time, money, and unnecessary stress. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Got in touch with Lee great guy took all the worries out of my move to Ireland even brought my motorcycle too my pride and joy but everything arrived intact as it was a far journey to come deliver was on time and the guys were very friendly and helpful with this move would definitely recommend you give them a call thanks again Lee from Eddie from goole now Ireland 🇮🇪

I contacted Range Relocations to book my house move. The staff ere friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I was talked through all the options and there was no hard sell.
On the day two removal men arrived on time, they were fast and efficient and had no trouble dismantling my wardrobes. I would highly recommend this company, they re built my wardrobes and took care with all my belongings putting everything where I requested. Thanks guys will definitely use you again.

Absolutely outstanding service from the guys at Range Relocations. They managed to get us an appointment date that suited us and our needs at short notice. It was a really simple process of getting registered and securing a really reasonable quote. The team showed up early on the day to prep for the move. They made things really simple and just got on with the job with only minimal input needed from us. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture for us and ha glad difficult pieces of furniture with little to no fuss. Would not have a problem recommending these guys to my friends and family.

Absolutely disgraceful ,we can see now why the guy wanted money up front,the worst customer care experience you can imagine,the guy you deal with just dictates to you all the time on the phone,they quote you a price,then refuse to do the removal , until his demands are met,the extortionate demands is of £150/non removal man,£450 to carry on,
These guys require virtually everything being done for them,they require everything wrapping up,from the smallest item to the largest,and refuse to do any work, until this is done,I'm 66 years old,have a wife who has had cancer,stem cell,and suffers immensely,there attitude caused her tremendous stress,but they are relentless in there extortionate demands.
Soon as I told em I wasn't gonna be ripped off,he dictated to us relentlessly,and they left the site,and refused any refund,they just took the money and ran,

Massive thanks to range relocations for assisting us with my mothers house move . It was a last-minute move which range managed to book us in with such short notice. We couldn't ask for a more professional service and will be forever grateful for the stress-free moving experience we received.
