Scammers. See the previous detailed review about unknowingly auto-enrolling in a $40 PER MONTH “benefit” in order to secure a discount of a few dollars on your order. The box is auto-checked at checkout, and the terms are obscure and intentionally confusing. Additionally, there is no email confirmation about the recurring charges, so you end up being surprised when the first charge hits.

When I emailed them about the unauthorized charge, I was essentially victim-blamed and told that I had opted into the program to get this discount. Was told that future charges would be canceled, but no refund was offered.

I ordered two pairs of shoe trees from this company.
Following my purchase, I was charged a monthly fee of $39.95 for three months before I realized I was being charged. The company insists that I selected a subscription when I checked out, but I did not.

I went back on the website to look at the checkout process. Below the submit button, to complete my purchase, there is an auto selected subscription box. No one scrolls down below the submit button to see what is below it. I did not select the subscription box, it was automatically done for me.

The company refuses to refund the subscription payments. I should have challenged it through my credit card, but when I thought of that, it had been too long (past 6 months). Unless the person buying the items UNCHECKS the subscription box, they are charged 39.95 a month.

They charged me $119.85 worth of subscription fees, for a minimal discount on shoe trees. They will not refund the subscription. If I didn't check my credit card, I would still be charged to this day... they are a fraudulent company, making money off of the subscriptions they automatically enroll customers in.

Do NOT buy shoe trees from Quality Shoe Trees. I got sucked into an add for a nicely discounted pair, only to be charged a steep monthly subscription fee a short time later. The mobile interface is intentionally misleading. The subscription checkbox is small, pre-selected, and labeled as "free," while the actual terms and trial period details are positioned far down on the page, below two different prominent checkout buttons.

Furthermore, I requested a cancellation on the morning of the 15th. Despite this, I was still charged for an additional month of the subscription that same day. I contacted their customer support. They were NOT sympathetic or willing to refund.
