The gym looks decent.
Well, as my first day there was two things not being mentioned in a more straightforward way (they are probably covered somewhere in small print). One is the lockers, you’ll need a padlock, otherwise can’t lock your storage locker. So you kinda are forced to buy a padlock from the vending machine, which is 6,99£. Second thing is with parking, can only stay for two hours and a half. Which is enough if you know about it. Also need to put your Reg number into a small tablet on the wall.
I probably overstayed at my first go, setting up the padlock, going through the machines, taking a shower. The gym is well equipped.

Hi Tom, thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We do our very best to provide a wide range of equipment/kit so that members have a variety of ways to workout! We provide lockers for your use in many of our gyms. The lockers we provide do not have locks on them, and if you wish to lock your belongings away in our lockers, you must bring your own padlock and key, or purchase one from our vending machine as stated in our Terms and Conditions under the 'Lockers' section. Parking information can also be found on your gyms home page or signposted in the gym itself which advises that you can park in the free on-site car park for two-and-a-half hours by logging your car details on the pod in the foyer. If you have any concerns regarding your recent visit and the parking, please speak to staff on site who will be happy to discuss this further with you! We hope to see you back in the gym soon! Since I have started this gym I have become more attentive in meeting my fitness goals. Their effective and short workouts in the classes have allowed me to meet my goals as well as having knowledgable and supportive staff on hand to guide me along the way.
I always look forward to seeing the members whom I have made friends with in the regular classes as well as the personal trainers on that day. I am therefore hugely grateful they are there to support me in my fitness journey
(albeit in a safe and friendly environment).
I am impressed with their state-of-the-art equipment which I use to help me warm-up before the classes or just to train. There are plenty of equipment to go around but is useful to use the app so you can plan your time easier so as to not become too disappointed.
The toilets and changing rooms are very spacious and are cleaned frequently and it has plenty of ports to charge up your phones.
I highly recommend them for the excellent customer service it provides and it is better than all of the other gyms I have ever been to.

No changing rooms open for men
No changing rooms open for men. Lockers small and not enough. Dog smell in the gym. No sanitisers for wiping down machines visible. The vending machine to get a padlock was confusing. 2 instruction lists and had to get sequence of pushing 4 steps right for it to work. Just select and pay surely? I came to gym on a day pass whilst in town. Great you can book same day unlike competitor The Gym but not great in terms of everything else!

Spacious and well equipped.
I went with my son very early on Sunday morning and was impressed with the vast space and the different amount of machines and free weights available. The equipment was in very good order. The space was very tidy and well kept.

A Great Gym
This is a great gym close to the city centre which caters for all abilities whether new to gym life or not. Very friendly atmosphere and lots of experienced instructors on hand.

Quick - Easy - Great Communication
Had a tour was thinking about joining after a little break from my previous gym, spoke with the assistant manager who gave me a tour and explained everything really clearly, so much so I came home and joined... see you tomorrow :-)

Friendly staff
My friend mistakenly chose the home gym in Leicester, so as the 'free buddy' I cannot enter the Sheffield gym. The staff helped us to solve the problem. It was a great gym experience so I decided to join for a month during my stay in Sheffield.

Once I had logged in
Once I had logged in, it told me to send a email to the gym manager. So I sent a message to the gym today but found I couldn't get of that page without logging out. I tried downloading the app but that takes me to the same page

They're con artists
They're con artists. Just avoid them.
So I signed up to Sheffield centre thinkinng I'll be able to go to all gyms in Sheffield. No! This is where they conned me. Apparently I can't go to crystal peaks gym. So basically my home gym is town which is 100% pointless. If I had put crystal peaks as my home gym and probably paid an extra £1 a month I would have access to crystal peaks gym and all other in Sheffield centre. You horrible disgusting company.
Yo swap my gym to crystal means I'll be paying more money rn and my monthly bill goes up. Waste of my time. I don't think I'll ever go to PureGym ever again once my monthly sub is up. Con artists.avois.

We offer various memberships; this includes various multi-access and PLUS memberships which, depending on which gyms you need access too, will vary in price.

Friendly & Relaxed
My fiancé and I joined recently and have had a great experience so far. The environment is well ordered, relaxed, and friendly. The facilities are great, and we really look forward to our visits.

Great overall experience
The range of machines but noticed during peak time usage, we could do with some more chest press and flys stations to avoid wait times for gym members. Other than that great atmosphere and classes to choose from

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.
Bad showers otherwise good
The showers in the changing room are insecure (the door can't be secured), have nowhere to put anything, and are not very private, but otherwise things are good.

Amazing gym and management
Been going to the city centre south PureGym in Sheffield for a year now. The atmosphere is great! The management and PTs are super nice aand couldn't be more helpful! There are lots of classes you can choose from!

It's ok for now
Location is good, between my workplace and my home. Lockers need to be replaced, most not working properly. Toilets and showers could be cleaner.

Upon signing up you will need to fill out a Health Declaration form via your Members Area, and this will need to be completed prior to entering the gym.
