We provide all of our teams with bespoke music platforms created just for fitness classes which provide a wide range of motivating music specific to each class type PureGym offers. Staff should undertake regular volume checks for the safety and comfort of our members, but if you approach the Gym Manager with more info, including dates and time, they will be more than happy to look into this for you and ensure the music is kept at the expected volume. The gym is dirty
The gym is dirty, unhygienic and absolutely stinks - I’ve never seen it cleaned. Staff are useless and have no care whatsoever for the gym attendees, I don’t think have of them even have a sports qualification. The gym is dangerous and I wouldn’t recommend going on your own or at night - it’s full of not rights. There are so many other independent gyms which are much safer, cleaner and better value for money. Avoid at all costs.

Honestly disappointed seeing a gym not advocate for the safety of w omen when she is being harassed by another gym goer.
The lack of action is clearly down to laziness. Nice to see where their priorities lay.

A gym who priorities dangerous creepy men even after they’ve harassed other gym members
Not sure why they’re deleting reviews but if a woman has been constantly harassed by another gym goer, I’m not sure why you can’t resolve the situation. The creepy man in question must be held accountable and receive consequences for his actions. Now you’ve lost a lovely customer and kept a dangerous, creepy male at your gym. Well done.

Unsafe space for women
After hearing about a woman that was harrased so much at this gym to the point of her cancelling her membership, I felt the need to make other women aware that this is NOT a safe space for women, especially since the owner thinks it's acceptable to delete reviews. Ignoring a harassment report is utterly disgusting, this should be taken seriously and now you are dealing with the consequences of your actions, which you choose to hide!

PureGym Salford has just had a refurb but it's scruffy and rough.
The gym's just had a refurb, but it's just so incredibly scruffy, untidy and grim that you don't notice. Sadly the clientele are pretty selfish and incapable of returning weights or even putting a water bottle in the bin. It's a depressing space really.
It does get insanely busy during peak times but there is a good amount of equipment. However, when classes are held on the gym floor, the music is insanely loud and it creates an aggressive, intimidating, unwelcoming atmosphere. It’s really awful.
I feel like the managers and staff aren't doing enough to make the PureGym Salford friendly or welcoming or clean and organised. I know it's an impossible task with the selfish clientele, but a major culture change and effort is needed to make this gym feel more welcoming.
The only reason I go is because it's close to my home. Otherwise I'd avoid it like the plague.

Only go here if you’re desperate.
This used to be a good gym, they had so many classes before like Legs,bums and tums; which I understand it’s now GLC but there’s so few classes of this now. This used to be basically every day around 5 and every Saturdays and now nothing.
They also used to have Circuit glass in the STUDIO which I loved because it made me loose so much weight and was in the studio.
All you seem to have now is Hyrox. That’s it.
You have equipments that have been out of use for ages now, like the stair master machines.
The staff is barely around too.

We frequently review our class timetables to ensure that the classes offered meet both member demands and staff availability. This does mean we may have to change the times of some classes or remove them completely, but we can ensure your feedback will be kept in mind for the next timetable review.
We are equally as disappointed when, from time to time, things go wrong and equipment has to be placed out of order. Regular maintenance checks are undertaken, and any issues identified are escalated to engineers straight away. Sometimes, there may be a small wait whilst engineers attend to fix any issues, but we endeavour to resolve these as soon as possible.
If you have any concerns about specific pieces of equipment in your gym, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Code for day pass simply didn’t work
Code for day pass simply didn’t work, and when I tried to get a member of staff by pressing the button multiple times it did not work. Calling the help number didn’t work either - I feel scammed.

Classes are great
Classes are great, some PTs are very professional and some not, but overall they have positive attitudes towards people.
The only issue that makes me think about switching to another gym is cleaning issues. Female toilets and showers are not clean and some point I’d say disgusting. I can’t blame the cleaner as I think she is the only staff that has to deal with this. I’d suggest to add more staff to improve cleaning, it’s people hygiene and should be cared.
