Was in there today. Regular user.
Crazy man talking to himself, harassing every lone female. Not working out. Just puts his stuff on a bench for 20mins then moves to another.
Harassing a regular user, she tried to ignore him, Said to the girl. I’m here if you need me. She said it’s ok. He’s harmless.
Until he’s not. I said.
Kids walking in 2 at a time, 3 to a machine not even training. Just messing around.
Peak time is crazy busy. They keep taking away equipment as it’s used as a test gym. Toilets always blocked. Generally it’s ok. Staff don’t give a F though.

Sadly I had to stop due to surgery but…
Sadly I had to stop due to surgery but always wanted to join back up, I emailed asking for a rejoin code but was told I needed to wait until the end of the month, this was a real shame as I need to start today meaning I've had to pay the full fee again, made joining again a sour experience

Joining fees are applied to cover the initial administration costs associated with setting up a new membership and direct debit agreement.
A joining fee would be applicable in these circumstances unless there is an active promotion available. These are generated by our Marketing team and these cannot be created via Member Services. Thanks, PureGym

Friendly and Accessible!
Managers and staff are incredibly friendly and the gym is very clean, they are also always bringing in new machines! Really great as long as you avoid 5-6pm but that’s standard for most gyms haha.

Alot of the gym machines are broken…
Alot of the gym machines are broken most weeks. To many kids at under 16 using the gym.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment are fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym.
Kingston MK. It's not their fault, blame social media...
Overall the Pure Gym i use (Kingston Milton Keynes) is good. Good space,loads of plates and racks, bars, machines etc..The let downs are: the amount of lazy gym goers that leave their station as if they're still working out i.e. fully loaded bar and just walk off. The misuse of equipment like dropping empty or light bars, smashing the safety bars with a similar loaded bar, again for no reason other than the effect of sounding like they're going 'heavy'.
I realise it's a business and if the local yoofs wanna come and scroll for an hour then that's their entitlement. Apart from that it's ok. I think that the gym staff could also intervene when an inexperienced lifter is clearly lifting more than they're capable, especially when you see guys prawn backing a deadlift that is never leaving the floor.

We do apologise for any inconvenience this does cause on your visits.
It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this.
However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this.
Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment we would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further. Thanks, PureGym

Requesting disabled access will require an induction with the gym staff in order to learn about how to use the doors safely and the rules around it. This is for your own safety and for others.

Misleading ads! #Disappointing
I wanted to rejoin today.
Typed in Pure Gym into Google. Saw your ad and thought, “excellent” - a nice incentive to join.
Your sponsored ad read:
“Get 50% Off Until January — Level Up Your Workout for Less with Code SAVEHALF to Get 50% Off 3 Months & £0 Joining Fee”
I tried multiple times to join today but that code didn’t work and I didn’t get the deal. Plus your website isn’t easy to contact support. If your codes aren’t active - then don’t advertise it.
I still joined because I wanted to join but the experience was disappointing and I was felt feeling misled.

All equipments were up to date, and also there was not much people at the gym . As most of the time, too many people makes it difficult to access some training equipments.

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please do feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym

The gym is equipped with a wide range of equipment, the gym is huge and has many features including classes, and many more, but unfortunately it is too crowded for me, I prefer to work in a more quiet place.I decided to go with cancellation and i was surprised how quick and smooth was the cancellation process , the pure gym team helped me super fast to get my refund and to cancel my membership. Thanks and I really appreciate your professionalism !!
