I have never seen a manager like Joel…
I have never seen a manager like Joel at PureGym Dagenham! He works tirelessly every morning, cleaning the machines, making sure everything is perfect, and always talking to members with a smile. He’s amazing at helping people, giving advice, and making everyone feel welcome. His dedication and positivity are inspiring he goes above and beyond every single day. PureGym is lucky to have such a hardworking, kind, and attentive manager like him🫶🏽

Disgusting facilities at Dagenham Pure Gym
On September 24 I reported a Health and Safety issue to the Pure Gym member services. The showers had mould growing on the trays, the facilities were always dirty and littered with empty water bottles/ toilet paper/energy bar wrappers and clothing. On this particular day, somebody had defacated in the shower which was the last straw and also sent photos of this to Pure Gym. On October 9 I sent another email to them asking why nobody had responded to such a serious complaint. On 11 October I got a response back saying that my email would be sent to the Dagenham Pure Gym manager and he would respond. To date 22 October, I have not had a response from anybody at Pure Gym. Absolutely shocking to say the least.

Quick, simple and effective. Quite descriptive in the areas that are necessary so there is no confusion for when the day of induction arrives

More follow up on new comers
What I dislike is there is no follow up or agents assisting customers on how to use and explaingi benefit of workouts or exercises or machineries Especially how to use them safely, but instead you are left out on your own .nowhere to turn to for help or guidance. It's a shame, though people are paying their money

Once signed up online you will have gym access straight away. However if new to the gym you can book on a Induction or a Get Started class via emailing the club direct or booking via the App.
If unsure on any piece of equipment or have any questions regarding your fitness goals/workouts please approach a member of staff on site who will be more than happy to help too. Thanks, PureGym

Temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym.

Nice gym and spacious good atmosphere
Nice gym and spacious good atmosphere, the only thing I noticed is that there is no cleaning station, there is a spray bottle and cloth, all the other pure Gyms have cleaning stations so that members can wipe there machines before and after use. Going on a sweaty machine didn't feel hygienic and germs can spread very quickly, also in the spin room members are not wiping the bikes after use because there is no cleaning station, members would use the station if it was available.

Paid for day pass at gym entrance and…
Paid for day pass at gym entrance and was denied access told need an induction. No way to speak to the desk because of barriers. Wasted time, petrol wasted trip. Told need to email manager when the staff are just across the barrier. No help from staff even though they can see me standing at the entrance struggling to get in.

Modern spacious layout
Modern spacious layout, great new equipment. The air conditioning was a 10/10 considering how hot it was outside.
