Brake pads threadbare - next day repair
Something was completely missed by another garage on my last MOT and failed it instantly this year. So lucky I hadn’t been in an accident! Thank you for fitting me in the next day with the essential repairs on a busy day, I now have a clean mot, safe car and am able to get around. Would recommend Protyre in Weymouth and will be back!

Tyre Fitter was extremely understanding…
Tyre Fitter was extremely understanding once l explained my health condition, l wasn't kept waiting, l knew exactly the reasons behind my x2 replacement tyres, wasn't any problem with Tyre Fitter talking to my husband ,,, went through all prices and type of tyres they had in stock , service was excellent, Tyre Fitter was v knowledgeable and we were given choices of all Tyre types prices, would highly recommend Protyres Weymouth

Customer Service - CiaRan Tyre Fitter WEYMOUTH , was very attentive to my health condition , he was extremely helpful and understanding, the replacement x2 tyres were fitted promptly and l was shown exactly the reasons behind the x2 replacements,, CiaRan explained abt Safety wear n tear, and he spoke to my husband and son-in-law on my mobile the exact problems with each tyre .....it lessened my anxiety , l was very happy with the experience and care l received from Protyre WEYMOUTH would highly recommend their Service

Avoid at all costs
Misled by staff, told my mot retest was booked, yet when I arrived the so called manager said there was no time for it, went back the next day to have it done and was told by the mot tester and manager that they couldn't pass it due to a slight error in fitting of one of the parts so then the tester says to get it sorted and bring it back the next day and he will pass it. So the next day comes and I pop in to see if the tester was available and the staff said come back in a couple of hours, so I did that only to be told by the manager that I was misled and that the staff led me on, he then proceed to say that he would do me an Mot at trade price for the next week and duly booked me in, so the next week arrived and I call them up to check the time of my app only to be told that there are no apps available all week due to the mot tester having the week off and that the so called manager had left the company and I was never booked in!!

Poor communication
They said they would phone me after an hour to tell me the result of my MOT didnt phone at all in the 5 hours my car was at the garage and I was only told it had failed when I showed up to come and collect my car

High cost repair
My car failed its MOT, and they told me it would cost £850 to fix everything. Since I’m a foreigner, I felt they might have given me that price because of it. I went somewhere else instead, and I had everything fixed for just £170.

Dreadful waiting time despite having an appointment. Almost 2 hours to put 2 new tyres on. And, they just dumped the spare wheel in the boot, - not back where they had got it from.
