Ptotyre needs to up its game
Protyre needs to up its game I had problems on my last mot visit but seeing as though I have used them for many years I gave them the benefit of doubt took my car in for mot on Wednesday at 10-30 for mot at 10-45 got a vague phone call at 2-00pm saying it had failed coil spring snapped and a few bulbs said somebody would ring me later with details no call told on Thursday my car would be done Thursday night no call rang them Friday morning said car would be ready Friday night got a call at 5-20 saying my car was having retest and it would take ten minutes so I know they shut at half five had to pick it up Saturday morning not impressed sorry protyre your service is no longer up to scratch and I will not be using you again neither will any of my family !!!

Staff as always excellent however my pre booked appointment by phone turned into a three hour wait. This was mainly due to over bookings taken on line which ended up causing chaos and unnecessary stress for staff and customers alike. Other excuses for the delays were the emissions tester was playing up and the new administrator was in training with the process and systems even though she coped admirably.
This isn’t the first delay as previously a lack of fitters was used when I had new tyres fitted, which took two hours.
Great place but much better organisation required
