Friendly folks all round. Explained what needed doing and showed me what had gone wrong with my Aircon.

Great service I wouldn’t go any where else!

My first time at this garage. I was traveling back home to Scotland when my tyre pressure light came on.

I could see all the tyres were inflated - however the lights stayed on. I attended the buckley site after a quick google search.

First impressions were fantastic. The garage is in a big site - there was no parking but I could see that all the ramps were in use, the reception was full of other customers there were two people battling the phones and a 3rd dealing with every customer.

I initially thought I was going to told to book but when I started explaining my situation, Anthony took the time to listen. His attention was solely on my dilemma. Within minutes Anthony took my keys and got it on a free ramp. He check it out and checked the pressures. Thankfully all the tyres were fine and just needed inflating slightly.

I couldn’t be more thankful

I was advised my MOT was due (which I knew) - I felt I was in good hands !

An absolute credit !!

Thanks to Anthony and his team I got home safe and sound.

Arrived at Protyre Rhyl today with a nail in my tyre - I could see the place was busy - cars everywhere.

Went in and spoke with the chap with a beard and he advised i could be waiting up to an hour. 20 minutes later I was leaving !!

Couldn’t help me enough.

UPDATE 2nd June 2026. I previously took my car twice to pro tyres for 2 free checks. One for steering wheel and one for suspension. Guess what? They missed that it needed work. Needed a new O/S/F top strut mount. I knew something was wrong but wasn't sure what. Save yourself the time and hassle and use someone else

UPDATE AS per reply below, an area manager did not contact me nor was anything investigated. I just got an email from Anthony Owens who manages the place defending himself and covering his back for his manager (who was copied in) No accountability. Stay clear if you need any work doing. Don't believe the exorbant amounts they quote. Look elsewhere and shop around before believing their bs. Anthony also openly complains and bad mouths other customers, not only in front of the customers in the waiting room, but he also complains to them, going into detail how annoying another customer is. He should not be in management

UPDATE: I got the clutch sorted for £600 elsewhere with an OE standard clutch kit. Please don't get swindled by these unscrupulous people.

My Yaris needed a new clutch. Got told it was £1600 and it would take 7 hours. I knew it didn't take that long and I knew the price was daylight robbery. I left and emailed Anthony Owen the manager and asked for a break down of the costs. £100 an hour labour charge and and everything else came to £1200 which is still ridiculous and more than double the price of other garages. He then said his colleague Sam quoted me £1400 and I replied my ears work fine.

Disgustingly unprofessional. Don't bother using these guys. Especially if you are a woman. They think you are a bit thick and quote ridiculous prices like it's standard.

Great service - booked in for a replacement tyre. I turned up early and they started straight away. I was in and out within 25 minutes.

Staff were polite and helpful

Once again a first class service. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Always offer a good deal, no hard sell. The free tyre check is most welcome. Would highly recommend.

I had forgot to MOT my car and Protyre were able to fit me in very quickly. From the time of booking to taking my car in and collecting it I was dealt with very courteously and professionally. Could not fault the service given. Car passed as well.

Ordered and booked an appointment online which was straightforward and the staff on site were very helpful and professional. Great service.

Great service

Having found a nail in my tyre late in the day and the tyre was almost flat. I booked in for a tyre check online for the next morning. I received an out of hours 10:45pm that night and 6:15am the next morning from ANTHONY to acknowledge and we had an email exchange to confirm it would be ok to drop off first thing and leave with them to look at and either repair or replace.
I dropped off when they opened and by 9:15am I received a call to confirm given where the nail was a repair could not be done and a new tyre would be required. By 10:30am I had received a further call to say it was all done.
I am a regular customer of the Bodelwyddan site and yet again, over and above customer service received from the team. Thank you Protyre and would highly recommend.
