I did not appreciate waiting 45 mins for 1 tyre replacement!!
One man was already waiting.
Do they only have one mechanic?

Did well to accommodate when down on staff fitted battery no problems correct parameters for vehicle just a little smaller than originals height so the insulation box a little bigger than the battery all ok.

Nothing too much trouble and quick, efficient service. Highly recommend.

Great customer service and experie ce, honest and reliable staff.

Perfect experience. Booked a slot online for 4 new tyres (for a saturday afternoon). We turned up 30 mins early but got seen to straight away. Friendly service, free tea & coffee. All done in 45 mins. Couldn't ask for anything more, especially considering the competitive price we paid for fully fitted tyres. Will definitely use them again! Cheers.

pleasant friendly counter assistant in middlesbrough branch, good value for money tyres, will buy again, only gripe was it took far to long to change 2 tyres even after making appointment

This is a review I have left on Google reviews for the Middlesbrough branch recently but I feel now that as many people as possible should be warned about this place.

Where to start .... Booked car in for a service as I have always had a good experience with the Stockton branch, found out my car needed tyres and breaks and was quoted over £500. Checked later and got everything done and more for less than £400 but that's not the worst of it. Driving to pick my son up after collecting the car it started to knock and as we were driving home the knocking got really bad. I called the RAC out and the mechanic inspected my car and found that the garage when putting the wheels back on my car had forgotten to tighten the wheel nuts on my front 2 tyres!!! The man from RAC was able to turn the nuts with his fingers and said we were very lucky the wheels didn't fall off when driving. So this place tried to have my eyes out for the work that needed doing and then could have caused serious harm to me and my son. Avoid at all costs ***UPDATE*** I contacted customer service as requested and was told on the 22nd October that this situation would be past to the area manager who would be in contact, I am still waiting to be contacted. I also reported to Eddie at customer service on 26th October that when I went to fill up my washer fluid I found that their technician had left a massive screwdriver in my engine bay, again don't even want to think about what could of happened if that fell into the engine or moved and hit my windscreen. Unfortunately Eddie didn't even acknowledge this email or have I been contacted by the area manager. Horrendous customer service from the branch customer service agent and Area Manager again picture attached and AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I had to wait for around two hours just to change 2 tyres. I had also booked wheel alignment they didn’t do it , said i have to do four wheels together.

Good service and a great atmosphere.
Popped in for a tyre repair but as was pointed out to me, a new tyre was required 🥲🥲.
From front desk to the workshop, the reason for the replacement was explained and I was shown the defect.
Was then offered a couple of tyre options, one being in stock. The tyre was priced competitively when I checked afterwards which gave me confidence and trust in the branch.
Back on the road in no time.

My wife booked her Hyundi I20 in for a service and MOT at the Middlesbrough Depot for some reason this premises does the MOT first then the MOT, my thoughts would be to do the service first then the MOT, the reason why I sat this is because the car failed on its MOT on faulty windscreen wipers how convenient, and to add insult to injury there then charged her £49:08 for a set of front windscreen wipers which would retail normally at best £25 double the price, yes the manager did phone up and explain that the vehicle had failed and required new windscreen wipers and did state the full price for the Service and MOT but what she never did was explainwhat the cost of the windscreen wiper were a total rip off,and also taking advantage of a women who was unaware of the cost.

When confronted about this said if their wernt replaced today then she would have to wait until Monday, which again is a load of rubbish I know and their know if there require parts it quiet easy to get parts sent and delivered that day.

I am absolute disgusted at the way my wife was treated and will not be returning again to this rip off establishment.

Use Protyre a lot. Great bunch who look after the customer. Always recommend them to others.
