Good job, eventually.
I bought two new front tyres online with Blackcirlces for my VW Touran to be fitted on Wednesday 2nd. Protyre was my closest store and I’d happily used them before. Unfortunately my car wouldn’t start that morning so I tried calling from 8:30a.m. (Which was the time they opened) but kept picking up the automated message stating the stores opening times. Eventually I spoke to someone at 9:10, some 40 minutes later after numerous attempts. To be fair they were really good and reassured me that it wasn’t a problem. I just needed to call them back to rearrange a new appointment.
At around lunchtime I’d got the car running and tried to call to book a new appointment. This is where my frustration started. For the rest of that day and most of the following day it was impossible to speak to anybody. I spent over 3 hours on hold and called over ten times with the same outcome. Eventually, I complained to Blackcircles who I bought the tyres from. They couldn’t get hold of anyone either but were able to book me back in online as they couldn’t access the online schedule.
I turned up at 10am on Friday 4th. There were cars in every bay and no parking outside. A delivery lorry was loading used tyres outside and there were many people waiting. I spoke to a member of the team who told me once the lorry had gone they’d be able to fit me in. One this vehicle left, I spoke to someone else who told me he only had two other cars in o sort first and then he’d get me in. Eventually I was seen at 11:10 an hour and 10 minutes after my booked slot.
The team were polite and a staff member apologised for the delay. However it was clear that they had too many bookings and were trying to squeeze in too much with too few staff. There is no main receptionist so it’s luck of the draw if you get to speak to anyone. This perhaps explains the lack of phone service!
My tyres were fitted quickly and efficiently once I was seen but I don’t understand why give customers time slots if you’re not going to be seen roughly near them. I accept there may always be some delay but I should have been one of the first few bookings of the day. Very busy, tough to park at times, but they get a good job done in the end.

I’m giving one star before even going!
I’m giving one star before even going!! Booked a tyre replacement online- the website changed the tyre to the one I entered… tried calling and emailing repeatedly but no one seems to answer the phone in canton- so currently over £200 out of pocket & I can’t even speak to a soul at the garage to get the issue rectified!! Absolutely shocking!!!

Highly recommend
