Second time being disappointed and…
Second time being disappointed and disrespected at this garage.
Unfortunately, after two extremely disappointing experiences at this garage, I feel compelled to share my experience and warn others about the service I have received.
First experience:
I booked an appointment through Blackcircles to have the front tyres on my vehicle replaced. I arrived 10 minutes early, as requested, only to be left waiting for over an hour before my van was taken into the garage.
I was then informed that the manager, Geraint Bater, had used an impact driver on my locking wheel nut key and snapped it. When he came to speak to me about the issue, his response was that they “don’t get paid enough for these problems” and that it should have been an “in and out job”. Rather than taking responsibility for what had happened, his attitude made it feel as though I was somehow at fault for his mistake.
As a result of this, I was left waiting for a further three to four hours for the tyres to be changed. I also had to purchase replacement wheel nuts at my own expense, as the originals were no longer usable.
To make matters worse, my alloy wheels were damaged during the process, despite being in immaculate condition before the vehicle entered the garage. I subsequently raised a complaint with Blackcircles regarding both the damage to my wheels and the manner in which I had been treated, but unfortunately, this did not lead to a satisfactory resolution.
Second experience:
Despite my previous experience, I decided to give the garage a second chance and booked through Blackcircles again to have the rear tyres on my vehicle replaced. I had hoped the garage might be willing to help resolve the issue caused by the locking wheel nut key that they had previously snapped.
The appointment was originally booked for the 23rd, but I was turned away because the garage claimed to be too busy and understaffed. I therefore had to rearrange the appointment for the 27th.
I arrived 10 minutes early again, as requested. However, before I had even properly entered the garage, I was confronted by the same manager, who immediately stated that he was unwilling to change my tyres because of the snapped locking wheel nut key and the fact that I had made a complaint about my previous experience.
I believe my complaint was entirely justified, given what had happened during my first visit. The manager’s attitude and manner were, once again, unacceptable, confrontational and completely unprofessional.
I have now been left in the position of having to contact other garages to resolve a situation that, in my view, arose from the garage’s own actions in the first place.
Final thoughts:
Two visits, two disappointing experiences, and a complete lack of professionalism, accountability and customer service.
I gave this garage a second chance despite the damage to my vehicle, the additional expense I incurred and the way I was treated during my first visit. Unfortunately, that decision has only resulted in further frustration and inconvenience.
In my opinion, the way this situation has been handled raises serious questions about the manager’s suitability for his position. A manager should be capable of dealing with customer complaints professionally, taking responsibility when things go wrong and working towards a reasonable resolution, rather than making an already frustrating situation worse.
I have reported both incidents to Blackcircles, who will be conducting their own investigation.
Based on my personal experiences, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this garage. I certainly will not be returning.

No time wasting straight on with job

Tracking
I had my tracking done on the front tyres and, to be honest, it drove worse than before you touched it. There was a pronounced pull towards the kerb. When I went back to get it corrected you couldn't fit me in for a number of days. I didn't pursue it further in the end because I sold the car.

WARNING, dont agree a price over the phone
Felt backed into a corner after my car failed the MOT.
I agreed on the spot to have the work done,but on reflection that was a mistake.
Your prices for the parts and labour are seriously over inflated
I also miss-understood on the phone the actual work to be done was more than the work you did!

They put the new tyre on the wrong wheel and finally forgot to replace the plastic nut caps, never to be seen again. They are a bunch of amateurs and I definitely will not use this company again.
